Dr. Farah Asim Khan, MD

Rushed phone interactions, doesn't listen at all. Yelled at me when I asked about medication side effects. She strikes me as someone who shouldn't be in this precession. Will be looking for a new doctor.

I have seen Dr. Khan twice for treatment. The first session only lasted 10 minutes or so and she was late. I was prescribed rx that caused some side effects of concern for me. During my next session two weeks later, it literally lasted about 5 minutes. She was also late again. I expressed my concerns, she asked me what medication I'd like and what I'd like to do next -- isn't that what I'm here for, a discussion and recommendations based on what I'm experiencing and what my needs are? Her camera was off, it was obviously rushed, and she seemed annoyed when I asked questions to clarify what the next steps would be as it was so quick. I did not truly feel listened to and it felt like a medication adjustment is being thrown at me just to "fix" it. Based on side effects I experienced, is this medication even the right one for me? Walking away feeling unheard and dismissed by your doctor should not occur. Will be looking for another psychiatrist.

Each time I met with her, it was like an intake. Never remembered me. Very indifferent to anything I said. I think this woman is in the wrong profession.

She and her office are NEGLECTFUL and failed on many instances to provide timely assistance to a child who was her patient. We are filing a formal complaint against her.

Not professional. Did not take the time during initial session to understand me. The first session was about ten minutes. She wrote the prescription in a strange way and would not follow up with the pharmacy. Will not be going back.
