I recently underwent a lower blepharoplasty along with the removal of two eyelid lesions — one on the upper lid and one on the lower lid of my left eye. Before surgery, I prepaid $5,140 for the blepharoplasty procedure. I was told that the lesion removals would be billed separately to my insurance. However, when I arrived for surgery, the accounting staff informed me that because my insurance wasn’t properly in order, the procedure technically should have been canceled. That comment alone set the tone for the experience — everything felt transactional, rather than patient-focused. On the day of my surgery, I met Dr. Nessi for less than a minute. She briefly reviewed her plan, and I actually had to remind her to address skin tightening, which I felt should have already been included in the prepaid cost. The interaction felt rushed and impersonal, leaving me uneasy about the level of attention being given to my case. The surgery itself went as expected, but the post-operative… experience was equally disappointing. As soon as I woke up, the staff seemed intent on getting me discharged as quickly as possible. There was little in the way of comfort, reassurance, or personalized care. Now, two weeks post-op, I find myself dissatisfied with the results. The outcome has not met my expectations, and combined with the impersonal treatment and financial frustrations, I am left feeling disappointed with the entire process.

Dr. Nesi-Eloff did my mom's eyelid surgery. She is friendly and very thorough. She ordered an MRI for my mom to identify my mom's facial twitching which turned out to be HFS, Hemi Facial Spasm. My mom started getting botox from the doctor. I would refer Dr. Nesi-Eloff to anyone.

Dr. Nesi-Eloff performed outpatient surgery and ophthalmic services for me. She was excellent in every way. Not only was the surgery completely successful (no scars), she explained everything in advance and had a very calm, soothing personality. I would highly recommend her to others. This was the first surgery I have ever had, and I was very nervous. The staff at the office was very kind and professional, and Dr. Nesi was fantastic. She followed up with me afterward, and did an incredible job. I can't say enough.
