Dr. Frank H Chae

frank is old school he left a 3 inch incision to repair a hernia which he made worse then before the surgery .I had to have a 2nd surgery to correct Frank Shea incompetency as a surgeon

Frank should not be a surgeon he do even performed a Hernia operation on me it was totally botched he failed to the one on left side and the one he did on the right side i had to have it redone by another surgeon.I told frank several times something was not right he just told it was fine. He was wrong or would not except he did a bad sugery

I went here for help because I was obese and depressed. Let me say I have never been the same since. I’m depressed even more. The Psychiatrist evaluation is a joke He sends you in same building and they don’t care if you have eating disorder. I wanted lap band but he talked me into the bypass. Told me can’t get the band adjusted forever but I know people who do. I had nausea so he gave me anti nausea pills which then made me able to eat defeating the purpose of the surgery yet he kept giving them to me. If you fail he is t so nice and don’t care. I feel I should of got the band and never should of had anti nausea pills. So I have all the bad things, gut problems, vitamin deficiency and teeth and hair issues, I’m still fat and oh my mental health is still worse than ever. It’s been years and I’m not better I’m worse I feel I would of been better off staying ovbese. But I’m not rich enough to sue anyone lol. Again the anti nausea should have never been prescribed

Dr. Chae may in fact be a good doctor but his office staff is not to be trusted. Since he only operates and they handle the paperwork I would recommend seeing someone else. They definitely do not return phone calls! You must inspect everything they do carefully. I was assured that my procedure/operation was approved by my insurance when in fact it was not. I have tried to contact both the doctor and office manager and they will not call me back. All this after I have spent over a $1,000 in preparation/classes for my procedure and my insurance claim has been denied.

a very caring and superb surgeon with a great compassionate bedside manner. I would recommend him to all my family members and friends.
