Dr. Frank D Obrien III, MD

Dr. Explained everything in language anyone could understand, asked questions about my shoulder and past treatments with other doctors. Got to the root of the problem quickly. Was seen at my scheduled time and wasn’t rushed.

I have been a patient of Dr. O'Brien for over 14 years. He is a kind and compassionate man. Pleasant and caring.

Dr. O'Brien is a nice man and a good doctor. If you are not interested in anything other than competent treatment, he would be OK. His staff, however, ua awful. At least half of them are "termination level" incompetent, while the remaining ones may be able to survive with retraining on proper treatment of customers. Ms. Holly, his assistant, stands out among the others as being particularly bad. She gave me information regarding my surgery which was directly contradicted by the rest of his staff, and when I attempted to contact her for clarification, she failed to return my six polite and professional calls for three days (so far...currently she still has not returned them).

After a chonic elbow problem my family doctor could not resolve I finally got a referral to an orthopedic doctor. After a 35 minute wait in the waiting room and a 1hour, 10 minute wait in the exam room, the doctor finally entered. He asked one question (how did you hurt your elbow), literally spent less than 30 seconds on his exam, told me I have tennis elbow, gave me some pills. When I tried to push for a longer term solution, it was like I was inconvienencing him and just told me to come back in 4 weeks. I have since started therapy on my elbow with my chiropractor who actually spent 30+ minutes on my initial visit examaning my elbow, asking questions, explaining exactly what tennis elbow is, what causes it, and how long it takes to heal, and describing a treatment plan to address the chronic problem. All this with only a 5 minute wait! Needless to say, I will no be wasting my time or money by returning for my 4 week appt. I would recommend a different ortho doctor for any… orthopedic needs.

I've had great experiences with Dr. O'Brien. Overall he's an excellent doctor. He's caring, and spends the time necessary with me. Would highly recommend.

Dr O'B needs to do something about the wait time. I try to schedule early visits but I will wait atleast 20 min.

got to office at 12:25 for 12:30 appointment - asked staff how long dr was running behind they would only say you are the second one - asked how long he was running behind, they would not answer - asked if dr was on premises, they said they did not know, - what office staff do not know when the dr is in or not - asked if they would call me (wanted to wait outside) when it was time for me to go in, they said they could not - reception area was over filled- go into individual waiting area at 2:12 - had to wait at least 15 minutes more - dr did not explain what he thought was wrong - asked him to repeat it and he still did not explain it - (I am no dummy) - will not recommend him or any other dr in that group - I understand they are all that way -

I had to wait a month and a half to get an appointment. I went to my appointment and was told that there was a mixup and I would have to wait another 3 weeks to have another appointment. I went to the second appointment which was scheduled for 11:50am and waited till 1:15pm till I gave up and left. I am still in pain and have not seen the Dr. His staff likes to think that they are better than the people that are trying to make appointments and keep this office open so they keep their Jobs.
