To put it simply, he's amazing! he helped diagnose me with ulcurative colitis, and helped to perscribe things to help with canker sores, he will even leave special names/notes to medicine, such as 'magic mouthwash'! The only issue I have, it takes a while to get an appointment set up, but other than that, he's amazing!

A doctor who does not care about his patients

Dr. Silber cared for my daughter from 2008-2011. At that time he had a terrific bedside manner. He was very sweet to my daughter and gave her a hug. I was in the room and it was brief and just a little pat because he cared and we were struggling with the cause. He explained things well. If I needed to get in quickly I would drive into Phx or Mesa.

Dr. Silber is an awesome doctor. Always willing to spend as much time has we need. Inflammatory bowel disease is horrible and its reassuring to have such a wonderful doctor.

Worst doctor I ever seen . I don't recommend at all.

Nearly impossible to get routine appointments with. Will wait in waiting room or exam room long amounts of time. He will spend enough time with your child. Takes a long time for office staff to return phone calls when question arise. There is no nutrition/supplement coaching even though diet changes can be key with this disease. Not up on latest clinical trials or medications. No complementary/alternative medicine mentioned by this doctor.

Highly recommend! There is not one thing I can think of that he could improve on. I like that he is big on prevention and monitoring of complications that the condition itself or meds can cause. This includes vitamins, calcium etc. and bone scans etc. He has treated my daughter for 1 year. Through hospitalization to office care, his bedside manner is incredible. I can't understand why some of the negative comments on here. We switched from another GI doctor in his practice to him and we were immediately impressed. As an added bonus he provides emotional support. I don't know a doctor that will give a child a hug and me as a mother when I must have looked worried. He called me over the weekend to check on my daughter when she was at her worst (upon meeting with him for the first time) and said that he was concerned and told me not to hesitate at anytime to bring her into the hospital. He later admitted her to the hospital and promptly turned her around, she is well today. He has… much experience and has been practicing a long time, yet somehow, still compassionate. I've had no trouble with office staff and get prompt return calls. For those that have voiced that they can't get "fast" appointments, this is a specialist, not a mini clinic for a cold etc. Call if something is medically concerning and go to the ER if it is that emergent. Ps.. If you have to wait, it's because he spends time with his patients and is not a clock watcher. It's disturbing when people complain about waiting when these docs are doing their job right.

As a mom who has the most respect for doctor's as a whole, this doc was horrible to say the least. Not professional, ill-mannered, and even inappropriate in communication. Appeared extremely ignorant and far from knowledgeable in his area of "expertise." Will not use him ever. When I explained to another doc his method of treatment, they were flabbergasted. I would never recommend this doc to anybody.
