Dr. Geri D Hewitt, MD

Dr. Hewitt always takes time to answer any and all questions. She is friendly and reassuring. I feel very lucky to have her on my team.

For years, Dr. Hewitt has always taken time with me. She's a very caring doctor.

Dr. Hewitt was caring, and she really knows what she is doing. She took extra time during my c- section to sew me with really small and intricate stitches since I had a bad experience not healing with a previous c= section (not that she did). I liked her more and more each time I went!

Dr. Hewit has always taken time with me. She is intelligent, communicates well, and I completely trust her.

Dr. Hewitt has amazing credentials, however I did not prefer her communication style. I waited over an hour to ask important questions regarding early pains. Her response was extremely vague, rude and totally unprofessional. As a first time mother I expected a physical examination or at least an educated explanation about each symptom. Instead I had to call my mother and Google each issue. Needless to say I do not recommend her and changed physicians immediately.

Dr. Hewitt is nice and, as long as nothing unusual happens in your pregnancy, she is probably great. But when I was ill in my first 3 months of pregnancy, the staff refused to schedule me for an appointment, apparently based on office policy(because I was not far enough along for an initial appointment). I called repeatedly the staff told me thay had relayed my messages to Dr. Hewitt, but she never returned my calls. When my mother came into town and saw me, she told me to ignore those nurses and took me straight to the hospital. I was admitted and I transferred to a hi-risk OB shortly thereafter. When my husband called Dr. Hewitt to let them know I was switching doctors and why, THEN we finally got a call back. Too late as far as I'm concerned. I hadn't thought about the incident in a long time, but now (nearly 6 years & 3 babies later), I came across Dr. Hewitt's name as I searched for a GYN to take the place of my hi-risk OB. I absolutely do not recommend her.

Dr. Hewitt is a wonderful, caring doctor. She is never in a hurry, listens to all your concerns and really cares. Thank You Dr. Hewitt

Dr. Hewitt is terribly rude. It was an extremely horrible experience. She's very uncaring, almost to a point she seems inhuman. I would not go to this doctor. There might be another doctor at this practice that is better, but in my personal experience I would just find another doctor. There are too many much more capable doctors out there that do not treat patients the way she does.

Dr. Hewitt has many more years experience then 3 as stated. I have been going to her since 1997 at least. She makes you feel very comfortable and does not make you feel like a number. Very caring bedside manner. I would recommend her to everyone. She is also great with teens who have menstral problems.
