I am very thankful that my dad have finally found a caring doctor that he trusts. He takes his time to explain the diagnose and makes you understand them as well. Hard to find one like this doctor 1

After being to multiple physicians and receiving little help I went to Dr. Prescod In hope of some answers. Within two visits I was explained the problem and ensured of a plan for the future. His bedside manner makes a tough situation easier, and four years later I am confident that I put my trust in the right doctor.

Was referred to Dr Prescod for a retina problem by my optometrist. I found him to be great, very professional and took s lot of time with me. He repaired my torn retina for which I’m very happy!

People can make mistakes, but in the health care industry, mistakes cause serious harm. No one takes responsibility for their mistakes rarely in this day and age, they shovel it off onto the patient. Today I went for my 10 month follow up to a successful procedure with Dr. Prescod. A doctor I like very much, but what happened today should not have happened. After checking in, the nurse took me to the exam room and began read off from the records why I was there. It was totally someone else's record. She said I was there for follow up to a complaint of a headache and injury 4 months earlier. I said, no that is not correct, I am here for my last follow up for my surgery 10 months ago. She reread and pushed back saying this is what the record says. She then left the room and went out to discuss with the front office to figure it out. After 5 minutes I went out to see what was going on where at the front desk they were discussing it and actually pointed to the doctors hand… written notes of why I came in for the last appointment. I spoke up and said, well you are wrong, he clearly charted from someone else's records. They continued to push back on me. I said, I am the patient and I know what I am here for. Everything was straightforward with my recovery, everything has been basic follow up. Again, reluctance to accept responsibility. I said, am I suppose to allow you to do what this incorrect chart says, vs. what I am here for? I left they kept my copay for the appointment. So tired of this broken system.

Dr. Prescod is a wonderful and caring physician who takes the time to explain diagnosis and best treatment. His office is always prompt to respond if I have a question or concern.

I'm sure he's a great doctor, but he's a terrible person. Degrades people and acts better than them, avoid at all costs!!!!
