bad doctor!

As I realize only those who are unhappy will post. Well I am extremely pleased with Dr. Yoo. I have been a patient for 13 years. The staff is pleasant, the office is clean, Dr. Yoo spends as much time as I need with me. Answers all my questions and listens to my opinions/suggestions for my health care. Being in my 50’s now, is no joke but we get through all my concerns. Happily referred her to a friend with teenaged triplets.

Very disappointed with Dr. Yoo. I just moved from Raleigh NC and had my first visit with Dr. Yoo. I have been on a certain medication for 25 years with my other Gynecologist in Raleigh. I have run out of meds and asked her at my first visit to renew my meds she refused. I requested them again and she said that she would give me one week of meds to hold me over and then retracted that as well. I had to go to my Raleigh Gyno to get a temporary refill. I will never go to her again. Minus Star!!!

I came to this doctors office so that I could recieve more personalized care. I felt more like just a number here than anywhere else. I was literally in tears leaving the office just now because the Dr seemed so rushed and incovenienced by having to see me. I've waited a month to get test results and ask questions about my pregnancy and she was not interested in asking me how I felt or asking if I had questions or even taking the time to answer the questions I did have. This is my first baby and the least I can ask of someone caring for me is to actualy act like you care. Also I was in the office one hour and saw her maybe 7 min at the end. I would not recommend this experience to anyone especially first time mothers.

This dr is the absolute worst I've ever seen in my life. Is not concerned about you as a patient and ignores questions you ask her. Rushes the appointment because she is not concerned about any problems you may have.Gave this office many chances and it was the worst experience of my life coming here. Front Desk is also rude and horrible.I wish you didn't have to give a star when it was like a bad omen coming here and wasting my time.

Have been a patient of here for over 10 years. Had an appointment at 10am and was running late. Got stuck in traffic. Arrived and signed in AT 10:12 . Girl at the window was on the phone and did not open glass. SIGN "DO NOT TAP ON GLASS. IT IS FRAGLE" So I waited until she would open the glass It was 10 or 12 minutes pass my appointment. I sat there until another nurse came out to ask to use the restroom. Went in and used it. Returned to the waiting room then the girl at the window called me over. Now mind you it has been at least 10 or 15 minutes since I arrived. She said your appointment was at 10am you are late and the doctor can not see you . You have to reschedule Are you kidding me?? Can you work me in ?? No. How many times have I waited for the doctor?? First time you are late, too bad. I may have to search for a another doctor..

Staff is very rude. Doctors are always in rush. Only Lisa mallard is a nice nurse there. If you are looking for a total care and attention then I suggest you to go some where else. I had to change my obgyn half way.

Very caring professional staff, didn't wait long for appt., was phoned promptly by Dr. Yoo's nurse to discuss my test results and to schedule further evaluation by Dr. Yoo. Dr. Yoo also caring, took lot of time with me explaining her opinion and couldn't have been any more thorough. Happy patient!

I recently had an emergency situation and am a patient of Coastal/OBGYN. Dr. Yoo would not give me the time of day and was extremely rude to me. Apparently I am not worth peanuts to this Doctor and she could care less how much pain I am in. Bottom line this Doctor feels she is above everyone else because she has a medical degree. Be careful and do your research on a Doctor's bedside manner before you decide to have them deliver your baby.
