Dr. Greta Vance Brodsky, MD

Terrible experience with Brodsky. She was unprofessionally rude and just really didn’t seem to care about anything. If you care about your health, choose another physician

Dr. Brodsky & her nurse & office staff are kind, considerate & helpful. I think Greta js a fabulous doctor. I moved but I drive 37 miles to see her.

I have never been treated so rudely and poorly by a doctor. I highly recommend you do not choose this doctor to see. There are others in the same group with a warm and patient personality who will not make you feel like your time is worthless and you are not deserving of any respect. You can make a much wiser choice than this physician. The office staff is similarly rude. I should have paid attention to the reviews already on the internet.

Upon moving to Dallas 3 years ago, another physician recommended Greta Brodsky to me for my general medical care. She has always been professional, friendly, willing to listen and asks relevant questions. I have never had any problem getting an appointment whether in advance or in case of immediate need. Both she and her nurse are always helpful and pleasant. My only concern is that follow-up communication (eg- letter or email with test results) can be slow. I will and have recommended Dr. Brodsky.

Dr. Brodsky has a very abrupt and uncaring bedside manner. She is very impatient and closed minded when it comes to bio identical hormones for women in menopause (I guess you're just supposed to suck it up and not take any meds). I switched doctors because I dreaded going in to see her so badly, just knowing that she would be snarky and condescending.

After a couple of years of trying to give Dr. Brodsky the benefit of the doubt as it relates to her bedside manner, I've decided to find another doctor. Being told to keep quiet one too many times and also being informed that she will no longer check my cholesterol because I can't take the statin drugs is enough. She just lost a patient who does take responsibility for her health but is very sensitive to drugs. She failed in working out a plan with me that just might be outside the box of a prescription drug.

I chose this doctor from the required provider list from Humana. I researched her on line and she stated she was accepting new patients. I needed someone to follow me due to severe diabetes. Her profile states she treats this condition. However after leaving my old doctor and changing my insurance card I called her office to make my first appointment. I had been in the emergency room the previous day for several hours with blood sugar over 500 and needed to be seen by my doctor at once. Her staff was ready to find me an open appointment in a few weeks, until they found out I had a Medicare-advantage policy with Humana. Then I was told she was not accepting new patients. I asked the girl in the office, "If I had regular insurance instead of Medicare would I be accepted" and she replied "Yes, of course". I feel betrayed by yet another doctor more interested in the almighty dollar, than patient care. I will attempt to find a doctor ASAP, but feel I will have to return to the ER before… that happens. So, Greta Brodsky is listed as my doctor, but will not see me because I have Medicare-advantage insurance.

Her office people are just awful, rude, passive aggressive, and never call back. I've been trying to get a a prescription refilled for a last month, but due to there lack of patient care I ended up in the hospital due to the lack of not having my meds.
