Dr. Botero replaced my knee; and within five-six weeks, I felt great. Because I have diabetes, my recovery was not as speedy as it could have been. I am pleased and plan to have him replace the other knee, too. I highly recommend this surgeon.

I had never had surgery, (besides laparoscopic gall bladder removal),so needless to say, I was scared. Soo many questions, so many fears. However, because of Dr. Botero’s presurgery plan and the preparedness of his team, my fears were put to rest and my questions answered. Having the informative booklet to refer to was wonderful, the direct care line invaluable, and the after surgery texts helped me to feel that my personal recovery was a top priority. My experience with Dr. Botero and his team far exceeds my expectations. I’m giving my experience 5 stars, but would give an even higher score if I could. Dr. Botero was recommended to me by my orthopaedic surgeon in Northern Virginia. He was aware that I was moving to Tennessee and would need surgery as soon as possible. I began to panic....I needed a new surgeon, in a new city and pronto, as my pain was off the charts! My Virginia Doctor smiled and told me I was lucky to be moving to Knoxville because he was referring me to Dr. Botero, the BEST orthopaedic surgeon he knew and had worked along side. Dr. Botero and his team were kind, knowledgeable, professional, and eager to get me back to 100%. A few hours after surgery, I was walking and feeling so very much better already. After a few weeks of physical therapy and DAILY text messages of helpful and timely advice from Dr. Botero, I am totally without pain and able to perform any and all physical activities. A huge “thank… you” to Dr. Botero and his great team for, literally, giving me my life back!

First visit I knew he was the one to do my hip replacement. Dr Botero and staff explained process and it happened. NO pain and back to doing the things I enjoy. Great texts and are spot on! Enjoyed getting exercises to help strengthen the knee. Great bedside manners.

I can’t begin to thank Dr Botero and his staff for All their hard work. My husband and I received Daily text messages from him keeping us up on all the progress and issues he might experience during his recovery. Its great to follow his progress through physical therapy and Dr Boteros expectations for his timely progress and healing. Much impressed with their Great medical care And communications!

Dr. Botero did an absolutely fantastic job with my hip replacement. His clinic ( KOC) is top notch. The staff, the entire surgical process top to bottom, the technology, especially the results of my surgery-all flawless. The Dr. Botero partnership with KOC is absolutely fantastic. I was completed overwhelmed, and surprised how easy my surgery was...give and take a few pains here and there. I know it was a direct result of Dr. Botero (team) expertise and most of all his steadfast and unwavering, leadership that was on display every second. Dr. Botero, texting program was wonderful you where in real time interacting with Dr. Botero as he walks you everyday expected hip replacement experience. For six weeks I received 131 text messages (what to expect) broken down in 2 weeks increments...outstanding. I highly recommend Dr. Botero to anyone for this surgery.
