Dr. Hiram Matthew Quitkin, MD

Dr. Quitkin is the best!! Recently I injured my wrist. Circumstances required going to a walk -in clinic rather than being able to see Dr. Quitkin. At the clinic, I got xrays..."Nothing is broken", "Here's a brace, wear it for a week or so, definitely wear it to bed, you can take it off for showers and sitting around. Be sure to at least TAKE it on your international trip." Pain was getting worse. Called Atlantic and was able to get in to see Dr. Quitkin (who has performed 5 previous hand/elbow surgeries on me---all excellent outcomes!) I brought the xrays disc and report which he looked over. He examed my hand, wrist, forearm. He decided to get xrays there. Found a non-displaced radial fracture. Now: strictly wear brace except for showers, no lifting etc. Return in three weeks to get new xrays and make sure it's healing. SO GOOD to be back in competent hands. So thankful for Dr. Quitkin and his listening to what info I can give him, his amazing skills and knowledge to take from the… physical exam and to look carefully at xrays and to see what is there. As long as he's available I will have no other hand, wrist, and elbow doc!! So, so thankful to and for him!

Dr. Qutkin did a fantastic job on my left hand. I have been to other surgeons for my hand and they made me feel like a number not a human. Dr Qutkin sat and discussed the whole procedure and was 100% accurate with everything he said. I highly recommend him to anyone needing an outstanding orthopedic surgeon!

Efficient, skilled, and thorough examination of my wrist. Did a good job explaining what was going on and within minutes administered a cortisone shot which helped tremendously. Also told me what to expect going forward and was reassuring when doing so.

Just had last appt in a 2 yr healing process involving 2 surgeries. Dr Q and his team are the best. Totally focused on my questions and proper recovery. They explained the biology and process clearly. Very patient and never rushed. And very friendly to boot.

Fantastic doctor. Second time seeing him for different issues and could not recommend him more. Honest, great bedside manner. And can make you laugh even when you are uncomfortable!
