Terrible Doctor! Was basically distant & cold during regular pregnancy visits. During delivery, which was after midnight, approx. 1am, there was a problem with the baby's cord around the neck. Baby was born PURPLE, and believe suffered oxygen deprivation. Dr. did not mention any problem to me at the time of delivery. When I was "wheeled" into recovery and a nurse checked my vaginal area, she was shocked by terrible condition she left area in. About a week later while I was home recovering, I began to bleed heavily and then blood began just pouring out. I had to get a ambulance to the hospital. Jackson was not available, and stand-by doctor attended. He was shocked and said she did not perform a placenta search, hence, the profuse bleeding. He had difficulty stopping the bleeding, but in the end, was able to do so. Dr. Jackson or her office, NEVER called to find out how I was doing in recovery or showed any concern for problems caused. I did not file a law suit, but in hind sight… think it was a mistake not doing so.
