Doctor Holz has been well-known for his practice worldwide. Having taken part in the Cataract Project since 2006, I could have not found anyone better to perform my Lasik corrective surgery. Truly, I could not have been in better hands. Dr. Holz and his staff are very caring to their patients and really want to make sure that they are comfortable before and well after the procedure is performed. Now I know who to go to regarding my vision questions and concerns. I definitely and highly recommend doctor Holz to anyone wanting to get Lasik done and or anyone who has any Cornea questions or concerns.

Dr. Holz performed a procedure on my left eye several years ago. It was to close a hole in the Iris of my left eye. The hole was there from a previous surgery to remove a cancerous melanoma which had been removed during a previous surgery. Dr. Holz had never done this surgery before but he came up with the concept of the procedure on his own. He used it and had it published in the British Journal of Medicine. It was a complete success. Now he's going to do a cornea transplant this coming Dec. I have complete trust in him and I expect to regain a large portion of my vision in my left eye. He's as good as it gets.

Kaiser's way of setting up appts is confusing, however Dr. Holz is great pre-op and post op. He is an expert in his field with good command of his support staff. Also, he takes time to personally contact his patients pre & post op.

My husband and I didn't think he was very professional. Would not recommend.

I needed cataract surgery which was slightly complicated by Lasik surgery done 11 years ago. Few other doctors in the San Francisco Bay Area had expertise on the lenses that I finally chose.He answered all my questions pre and post surgery, and was always courteous and warm. He is an amazing doctor and deserves much success.

Dr Holtzwas very professional and funny, He made me feel comfertable through the whole process of my surgery. He took extra time to explain the process to me. I would highly recommend Dr Huck Holtz.
