I really appreciate the knowledge and experience possessed by Dr Lijtmaer. He was familiar with the many symptoms I’ve been showing and after a few simple tests he was able to draw conclusions that made sense to me. I’ll be following up with the doctor after further lab and imaging work are completed.

Dr. Lijtmaer is always on time and helpful at every visit. The staff there are awesome at coordinating things for his patients.

So, after my previous neurologist retired, we had to find a new one. And let me tell you, our first experience with Dr. Lijtmaer was pretty disappointing. He really didn’t seem to take the time to grasp what was going on with us. I mean, he didn’t even dig into the patient’s medical history or symptoms like you’d expect a doctor to do. Instead, he rushed into a diagnosis just based on our brief visit, which honestly felt a bit careless. This quick judgment ended up giving our insurance a reason to deny coverage over some technicality. When we tried to reach out to ask for a reassessment, Dr. Lijtmaer flat-out refused to see us again. It was frustrating, to say the least. But then, luckily, another doctor in the same practice stepped up. This new physician actually took the time to go through all the detailed notes from previous specialists. It was such a relief to get the thoughtful care we really needed.

The doctor was friendly and well-informed. He answered my questions clearly. I’m looking forward to seeing him again. The other staff members were also terrific.
