Dr Rich ruined my life. I would rate below 0 if I can. It was a simple hip replacement that the cup and ball of the replacement was placed in the wrong angle and is sticking out into my leg and the stem was also placed incorrectly. A simple 11/2 hour procedure took over 4 hours. I spent over 3 months in bed. The dr decided to write up my records to his satisfaction not to what I said! We have been on a search to have revision surgery but no one will touch me because he destroyed the area. Lawsuits were highly recommended but because he has no malpractice insurance it was impossible to get anyone to help. I had to stop working and have been in chronic pain every since worst then before! I suggest you think twice before you ever think of using this dr! Seems like a nice guy but beware! I was a young athletic man and basically became handicapped! In pain every minute of my life and unable to enjoy even the simple things! Thank you dr rich for destroying my life!

Incredible doctor who made it possible for my grandmother to walk again. He is outstanding with communication and is very patient with family. I trust his expertise and would certainly recommend him to anyone.

We suggest people be aware about this doctor because he replaced the left knee of my wife Mildred M. Gaitan and after the surgery she ended up with the left extremity 15mm longer than the right extremity and as result she experiences a gait, pain in both knees, hips and back, she has a hard time to stand still , etc.

I don't know what these other people are talking about. He was great! His bedside manner was what impressed from the beginning. He is very knowledgeable. He answered EVERY one of my questions. He wanted to make sure that I was comfortable with my decision for my mom to have surgery. He's a great surgeon. After surgery, he was very concerned with her recovery. She has NEVER had a problem with her follow up appointments and his staff if great!

Horrible bed side manners. No communication skills. Very uncomfortable from the moment he walked in.
