Dr. Jeffrey Steven Goldsmith, MD

Dr Goldsmith has been my PCP/Internist for close to 30 years. He's a wealth of medical knowledge and is easy to converse with, too.

My view of this doctor is exactly the same as the review on November 20th, 2019. After putting up with his bad attitude for many years, I've come to the conclusion that I don't want a doctor like him seeing me through my old age.

Once a good doctor now is rude, doesnt care he is rude, inept, unable to communicate well, leaves a patient guessing about their condition, and more

Dr. Goldsmith was our family doctor for few years. He is moody and rude, rarely returns patients’ phone calls, and never returns calls from Home Care or from family members. He is lacking empathy, uncooperative and gets easily frustrated and irritated. When asked about the same problem couple times which he is unable to solve or explain, he recommends hospice, and then when questioned about it, denies that he recommended it. He never checks on condition when patient is in the hospital, he is useless on resolving a minor problem on the phone, does not listen to the complaint and only says “make an appointment” for which there is an extremely long wait, but when patient is late, the office imposes penalties or lectures the patient. I absolutely will not recommend him to anyone, he should not be anywhere near patients. Get someone nice.

He is easy to talk to, and very thorough in the physical part of a physical exam (very rare these days). That's the good news. The bad news is that if he cannot diagnose you with routine blood tests, he'll assume your problems are not real or will recommend something absurd like taking Vitamin D. If you're healthy and just need a routine check up, he's fine. If you have any kind of complicated issues that require finesse and creativity to diagnose, you're going to be out of luck.

Excellent Primary Care Giver. I have been a patient for 17 years and so is my wife. Great table side manner, caring, empathetic and compassionate. Takes time with his patients, listens to your symptoms...very knowledgeable

Dr. Jeffrey S. Goldsmith has been my primary care physician/internist since early 2000 (15+ yrs). He truly impresses with his immense knowledge of internal medicine. Dr. Goldsmith also has an amazing depth of medical knowledge in other areas of medical specialities--and which board-certified doctors have excellent expertise in those other areas. I can honestly state that Dr. Goldsmith has saved my life, literally, at least three times in the past fifteen years. I was raised in a medical household in a distant state. My entire family holds Dr. Goldsmith in the highest esteem; for his dedication to those in his care, his encyclopedic knowledge of his specialty areas of medicine and others, his gentle--but stern--instructions on how best to return to good health, and his amazing staff who clearly are grateful to be working with him.

Dr Goldsmith is awesome! He's easy to talk to and always takes his time with you.

Not enough space in this message box to express how great of a doctor Dr. Goldsmith is. He was so nice, caring and extremely knowledgeable about my condition. Although he was young, he had an old fashion way of caring for his patients. But his knowledge of healthcare was no way old fashion. He is clearly ahead of the curve. I am so blessed to have found him. I thank God for a doctor such as himself. Keep up the great work!
