Dr. Joel Hoffman, MD

Dr. Hoffman is truly one of smartest doctors I know! He is a great listener, and was able to solve my son's "medical mystery" in one visit. Prior to seeing Dr.Hoffman, my son and I had made several trips to the pediatrician because he had been sick for 5 weeks. We had seen 4 doctors who were unable to diagnose him or help him, one of whom had misdiagnosed him and put him on the wrong meds. Dr. Hoffman really helped my son by listening to us and his symptoms, and putting together a timeline of the illness. By thinking outside the box (differently from the other doctors we'd seen), and ordering the appropriate tests, he was able to get the right diagnosis, and give him the proper treatment to get him on the right track towards healing! My son is much better now -Dr. Hoffman is wonderful!!

My 16 year old son has always had trouble breathing out of his nose and large tonsils which were always prone to infection. Dr. Hoffman explained in detail what needed to be done and how much he could help improve my sons issues. He was patient and answered all of our questions and made us feel at ease. I highly recommend Dr. Hoffman. After six months of breathing problems and a whistling sound from my nose, I sought treatment from North Atlanta ENT & Allergy. This decision turned out to be life changing for me. Dr. Hoffman performed surgery to close a perforated septum and correct nasal valve collapse on both sides of my nose. As of writing this review, I am six weeks post-op and can breathe so much better! I sleep better, have more energy and feel fantastic.

I had the procedure done on Feb 20th. So far the result has been outstanding. Prior to my procedure my sinuses were not draining properly and so I was getting frequent sinus infections and chronic headaches. Dr Hoffman explained the procedure in advance very well so there were no surprises. Immediately after the procedure, I flushed my sinuses regularly as directed. There was slight discomfort for a couple of days, but nothing remarkable. For the past 2 months, I have had no headaches and no sinus pressure whatsoever. I keep hearing about this being a bad season for allergies but so far, so good for me. I highly recommend Dr. Huffman!!!

I had thought about having sinus surgery for decades and finally decided to have it done over a month ago by Dr. Hoffman. I have been plagued with chronic sinusitis and congestion for most of my life. My recovery from surgery was swift and I can breathe freely again. If you're thinking about having this surgery I encourage you to see Dr. Hoffman. I only wish that I had this surgery done by Dr. Hoffman a long time ago.

I have been a patient of Dr. Joel Hoffman's for more than 3 years. His bedside manner is always very professional & friendly! He always took the time to explain my options. Dr. Hoffman has done my grandsons and my daughters surgeries. When my daughter had her sinus surgery at the age of 18 and the night of surgery she got a massive headache that we couldn’t get to go away so we called the answering service. They immediately called Dr. Hoffman he returned my call and told us to go to the ER to have her checked out. Little did I know he was meeting us there. I am VERY VERY happy with the care I received from Dr. Hoffman and his team. I've suffered from breathing and sleeping trouble for years. The improvement in my quality of live since being treated by Dr. Hoffman has been amazing. He was able t swiftly diagnose and treat the causes of the problem. I can't recommend Dr. Hoffman enough. My son with special needs fell out of his wheelchair and broke his nose. He wasn't sleeping for close to 6 months! Dr Hoffman repaired his Septum and opened the blocked airway and it's a miraculous life changer! He's sleeping and feels great. He didn't even post op pain. The entire staff is fabulous, and caters to all ages! Even my husband was so impressed with Dr. Hoffman's expertise, he is going to switch from his current ENT to these wonderful folks! I have been seeing Dr. Hoffman for several years due to chronic sinus infections. I have also seen him for nose bleeds, ear infections and horseness. He has been amazing! My problems have cleared up thanks to his tenacity in finding the right treatment for me. He always has a smile, and his staff is top notch. Dr. Joel Hoffman successfully executed my sinus surgery with turbinates reduction. And after years of terrible chronic sinusitis, I finally have relief and can breathe effortlessly from my nose. Dr. Hoffman and his staff have contributed to my care and were all absolutely excellent. Every office visit, I was taken care of by every single person I interacted with. Of course, I had a million questions about my surgery but nevertheless, Dr. Hoffman took the time to answer every single question and gave answers while never making me feel rushed!!

Dr. Hoffman is an amazing, caring, and trustworthy Doctor. He assisted us immensely in getting my father well after my father's previous ENT would not provide proper follow up care to him after performing surgery on him. Dr. Hoffman was definitely our saving grace. His office staff is awesome too!

A couple of months ago, Dr. Hoffman did a sinus surgery. It was a very pleasant experience. My 3 out of 4 children has been seeing Dr. Hoffman since we moved here in 2005. He has done surgeries on 2 of my 4 children. He has also operated on my mother and my sister. We all love Dr. Hoffman. He is very professional, friendly and knows how to explain everything to us. He is also really with children and very gentle. My family and I have really enjoyed Dr. Hoffman all these years and will continue to see him. Dr. Joel Hoffman is an excellent doctor!

Dr. Hoffman was very professional and encouraging with us. I didn't feel like he was in a hurry to go on to the next patient at all, which was refreshing. I would HIGHLY recommend him for ear, nose and throat. I have seen him for vertigo and my son had a broken nose.

For months, I had been suffering symptoms that were debilitating me. While I had been to many doctors who gave me many painful tests in order to provide a diagnosis, none could do so. Dr. Hoffman agreed to see me and within 1 hour of my visit, he diagnosed my problem and set me on a path to be cured. I would literally have died from my illness if I had not seen Dr. Hoffman. He is an excellent doctor!

Waking up with fatigue after multiple sleep interruptions from breathing issues had become my norm. My CPAP and Afrin were becoming less effective. After a year under Dr. Hoffmanâ??s care, a change to Bi-PAP, a painless bi-lateral turbinate reduction plus nasal valve suspension sutures, I am now sleeping (and resting) at night. No more Afrin, fatigue or daily naps. Dr. Hoffman is an ENT that stays up to date, thinks outside the box and takes pride in improving his patient's quality of life.

I went in to see Dr. Hoffman after an ER visit for a broken nose. My nose looked as crooked as a question mark. Dr. Hoffman and his team were able to schedule me on the same day, diagnose me, and scheduled a procedure to straighten my nose out the same week. Dr. Hoffman was able to do my procedure in office, which is normally done in an out patient surgery center. This saved me a ton of money and time. He numbed my nose and face with expert care and precision. I was super nervous but he and his staff made the experience as relaxing as possible and calmed me down. My nose was cracked back into place with little pain. It is now no longer crooked. I am not ashamed to say that I am beautiful again. I would definitely recommend him to be your ENT.

My original visit to Dr. Hoffman was due to an ear drum injury. After follow up visits for my eardrum he noticed that my sinuses were causing me problems. He took a look and offered a minor surgery as a solution. ( I had a deviated septum and numerous sinus infections) Living on Lake Lanier and being in the water constantly, I decided to have the surgery. It has been exactly 2 weeks since my surgery and everything has gone exactly how Dr Hoffman said it would! As I sit here and type this review, I can honestly say that I am breathing better than I have in years!

As you can see my experience with Dr Hoffman was exceptional. I have suffered with sinus issues for years. He performed a ballon sinuplasty 2 months ago and the results have been fantastic!
