Dr. Johanne Dunn

I saw Dr Dunn a few years ago. I had a mammogram that was positive. I had an ultrasound right away and was told it was positive too and that I needed a breast biopsy. The staff at the office said they would put the referral in and send it to the Dr who would perform the biopsy.. After waiting a week and not hearing from the Biopsy doctor I called Dr Dunns office to get the name and number of the Dr they referred me to. They gave me the name and when I looked up that Dr, it said they did reconstructive breast surgery. I called Dr Dunn's office and was told that the doctor they referred me to, did breast biopsys. i called the Dr they referred me to and was told they do not, but the receptionist there told me a doctor that I could be referred to. i got the Dr's name and called back Dr Dunn. They told me they would put in the referral for the new doctor. I waited a about a week and still had not heard from the referred doctor. I called the referred doctor and was told they had… not received any referral for me. I called dr Dunn's office and was told they had sent it and would send it again. Again I hear nothing. I call and the referred Dr says they have not received my referral. So again I call Dr. dunns office only to be told they sent it and they don't know why they haven't received it. At that point I told them to give me the referral and I would take it to the d myself. It was almost 2 months before I got the referral. Meanwhile I'm freaking out because I don't know what is happening with my breast.. I do not recommend at all!

Staff has no empathy for the sick, scheduling is almost impossible. Dr. Dunn misdiagnosed my son, she was not help at all. I had to find another Dr. for him.

Dr dunn has been seeing myself and my husband for 23 years. She is a very compassionate and understanding doctor. She takes care of every component of my care and my husband. The staff is courteous and takes care of all of our issues at hand.

She is very informative, thorough exam and really gives her attention to you. I did not feel like a number being rushed through so that she could get to the next co-pay.

Very bad experience, new to the area, I was looking fro a family doctor. She is the worst, trying to maximize the profit, no care for the patient, staff very rude. Would not recommend this awful practice!

Dr. Dunn takes the time to sit and listen to you and not just tell you what to do and send you on your way like many other doctors I have seen. She really cares about her patients !

The front office is usually rude and disorganized. I came to ask a simple question while picking up a presrciption and was talked to like a child. I have been trying for one week to get my test results, they haven't returned my calls and I always get their voice mail. Looking for a new Doctor.

BEWARE, This is long:It was easy for me to get an appointment here which was a plus until i come to maybe find out why. I went into the office and the doctor and asst were bad mouthing and judging a new employee, strike one. I went to provide my urine test and once I was finished, no one directed me where to put it, After speaking to a a few people a kind nurse was very apologetic & awkwardly walked w/ me to the place it in the right location. unorganized..strike 2. I was all done & ready to check out, and a I was harked at about not providing them w. a certain piece of information after they spent about 15 min. looking for it. shocked, i responded, "How was I suppose to know to provide you w/ anything unless otherwise advised?"..strange..no accountability and strike 3. Finally, I left the office and had waited a day thinking I was going to contacted and advised of the next steps, regarding my CT Scan but no call. On the third day, I called and was advised that I needed to make an… appt. with another location. Because my situation could have been time sensitive, I was appalled that I was not instructed of this before. The attendant told me the Dr. should have told me. strike 4. After calling trying to schedule an appt. I was told I called the wrong location. So, I called the Dr.'s office back and was then told that they had to schedule adn I would be contacted. The weekend came & I had to wait till Monday...no call from the Dr. office again. So, you guessed it, I called but nothing was scheduled because they didn't have my prescription. Oh & they also had to get authorization from my insurance company which they hadn't req. yet (I was lied to & prev. told it was). A copy was suppose to have been made before I left & it wasn't. There was no way for them to get it except for me to drop it off or fax it to them. I faxed them a copy and waited. By the end of the week (2ndweek) I was advised of a date to get my CT Scan. I ended getting everything done about 3wks after my initial visit due to disorganized & ill communication of staff. After, I got the CT Scan, no one called me with the results, I had to call them. After the results was provided to me (all test showed neg. of anything), there was no other follow-up (I had abdominal pain w/vomiting). I will never go back to this Dr. office. Oh, last thing...I could fax them the prescription but they could not fax it back to me when I needed it, so I could provide it to my insurance company b/c it violated some confidential policy. I would have had to take off work to make it to them during their business hours (it's about a 35 min. drive from my job). I would not recommend!!!
