My top-rated experience with Dr. Glashow and his team began on a Saturday afternoon when I completed a short summary of my medical concerns, and why I needed an expert knee orthopedic surgeon to see me. Sunday morning I received a phone call from Helen Rios,the Practice Manager/ New Patient Liaison. She'd read the online form I'd filled out, and offered to arrange an appointment for me the next day. I couldn't believe that she had called me over a weekend. I wanted to wait for my MRI results to come in on Monday. I called Helen, and she fit me in to see Dr. Glashow Tuesday. I arrived at this beautiful office and was greeted by two friendly young women, Ashley and Courtney. Within 5 minutes I was being examined by Dr. Glashow. He had already reviewed my MRI results and copies of my current doctor's medical reports Helen had already requested and received by the time I walked into the pracitce. We talked a few minutes, and he ordered an ultra sound. His Physician's Assistant Christopher… Prezzano performed the ultrasound. Dr.Glashow explained the results supported the urgency of this repair, and he offered to perform the surgery that afternoon. Helen performed her magic and sent me for a stat medical clearance. Then, I headed down to the surgical center. Both Dr. Glashow and Chris spoke with me before and after surgery and I felt so safe. My surgery was performed without issue, and I've already been in for my first 5 day checkup. All is going well. I am already so much more hopeful and at ease because of the gifted hands of Dr. Glashow I highly recommend Dr.Glashow and his team. Lauren R.

As much as I hate to admit it, Dr. Jonathon Glashow is a very good surgeon. He performed a left knee arthroscopy and a total knee replacement of my right knee. During the 2 years I was under his care all was well. His PA Chris was always helpful and answered questions via telephone or email willingly. My issue with this doctor regards the 3rd surgery I hired him to perform on my failing left knee. He recommended a total knee replacement. Unfortunately, I did have my knee replaced expecting Dr. G to be the surgeon of record but to my dismay he was not the doctor who performed my surgery. Instead he had Dr. Nicholas Bavaro replace my knee. Dr. Bavaro was a new associate to his practice and I was told he specialized in Hips. I never met him prior to the surgery and would never had hired him as I was not looking to change surgeons. Of course, I was asleep during my surgery but upon awakening Bavaro was the physician who met me and examined me post-surgery. At the time I did not think much… of it but when I went for a follow up appointment with Dr. Glashow instead, I was again greeted by Dr. Bavaro. After the exam I attempted to contact both Dr. G and his PA to ask why I was no longer seeing him. Neither would grant me a reply. Upon requesting my hospital records it was now clear to me why I was no longer under Dr. Glashow’s care as he was not the surgeon of record. This would all be a moot point if all had worked out well, but I have a bum knee which instead of getting stronger is weakening, unstable and painful most of the time after more than one year. Dr. Glashow met with me in the waiting area and signed my knee just prior to this surgery. He never mentioned stepping out for my surgery or that he had assigned his associate. I feel violated by this man and I highly recommend you amend his consent form prior to your surgery and be sure to write in ONLY Dr. Glashow. Trust me, Bavaro is no Glashow and you do not want him touching your body!

Had 1/2 my knee replaced 2 years ago, nothing but problems since, I should have known when I arrived for surgery at 12 noon and they didn't take me until 10pm when I threaten to walk out of the hospital. No follow up and now they dont take insurance so I can't go back in to see the Glashow. What a joke. Take the money and run.

Good experience in all aspects, but you have to pay for everything out of pocket as this doctor does not accept any insurance

I've worked as an orthopedic PT for over 25 years in the NYC area and had the luxury of treating patients referred by some of the world's best orthopedists. When I injured my knee in 1994, there was no question of who I wanted to perform my surgery. I've had a total of three knee surgeries with Dr. Glashow. He is the only one I know unequivocally to get it right. His staff is very professional, appointments are easy to make and I'm always treated with attention. He's fantastic and I highly recommend him.

He is a great sports ortho with an wonderful bedside manner. I highly recommend him.

Dr Glashow did my knee replacement surgery. He is a smart, kind, empathetic orthopedic surgeon. Office is beautiful and high tech and runs on time. All staff is supportive and assists with insurance (out of network benefits). Lael & Chirs (PA) were very helpful. Dr. Glashow and his team are simply the best. Thank you.

Had a torn ACL. Dr Glashow fixed it. Better than new now! Highly recommend.
