He was very kind and caring in the beginning. I was dealing with severe depression and was referred to him. I was placed on a number of meds and sent in for therapy. But after awhile, I felt the medication was causing more harm than good. Yet, he and I did did not agree on me discontinuing them. Instead, he wanted me to stay on them and then wanted to send me back to work when I knew my mental mindset was still imbalanced. That's when I saw a different side of him. We were not working as a team anymore and I did not have a say when it came to my health and well-being. So I stopped seeing him, got help elsewhere and eventually became better. I am sad that I could not complete my treatment with Dr. Watt. But I saw a negative side of him when I did not want to keep taking my medication and I didn't like that.

I lost my father in a violent way. Along with that, I had other issues going on in my life. I was referred to Dr. Watt for my depression. He was so wonderful and understanding at first. But as time went on, I felt as though I had no say in the medication I was required to take. I was also being sent back to work when I knew that mentally, I was not ready. It ended up that I stopped going to him. His attitude changed and he was not the caring psychiatrist he once was. A psychiatrist and patient should always work as a team so that together, they can find a solution to the problem. I cannot recommend him.
