Dr. Jose Antonio Sanchez, MD

-no disclosure to patient - -won't allow patient to speak to him - -has no idea what happened to his patient - Let's his staff dehumanize his patients on his behalf and won't allow them a chance to present any fact that had his patient former in disarray to the point of breakdown - Hung up on -transferred -patient told patient was this and that all by word of mouth - had dr been rude to patient in person would have been different - staff is demonizing patient for a condition that is aiding in another condition that disables patient in a cognitive manner to be able to not be in physical agony - a pharmacist will be happy to hand patient 7 medications to treat condition that makes one worse in every way possible - dr has no idea what really happened to patient - either he does not care or this whole establishment is judging character on one document - little known very little. - others are wrek less there and have real issues from within that they do not know patient knows. - patient… is treated callus. _ patient is only addicted to being treated like a human and living somewhat pain free _ somewhat. Beyond the scope Of actual intelligence to think beyond what patient was denied to show - prove - having patients words twisted and told the most insulting things - I suggest if one does not like being a doctor or thinks they have enough arrogance as a non doctor to sit around and talk instead of listen to a patient instead of allow a patient to speak on their own behalf then go home. Do something else If you don't love what you do , take a walk Find something else to do. One day one of these people will have to need someone and it will be them feeling alone. No matter the situation. Victimized a victim and sits as if they are above God. No body sits that high. Take a seat staff or go home.

I have seen Dr Sanchez off/on since 2009, because McGregor's staff are nice and professional and appointments are easy to get and never much wait time. Dr. Sanchez always acts like you're bothering him. He is arrogant and rude. He does not offer much of an explanation and once said to me, after asking me the reason for my visit, to stop talking so he could make a diagnosis! He runs tests, but when results are back does not take the time to go over with you. Knowing I had very high cholestoral and that I couldnt afford the Crestor brand and after almost 2 yrs of trying others finally gave me a discount card for a years worth at $3.00 per 90 days. Why didnt he do that up front. Well after that slap in the face and his arrogance I will no longer settle! I don't know how a doctor could be that way and look in the mirror. He seems to be a very unhappy and sour human being.

I've been seeing Dr. Sanchez for about 3 months. I've seen him 3 times for a recurring medical issue however the last I saw him He had an attitude. I mentioned some side effects of the new medication he had put me on and he tried to brush my comment aside, not looking at me when he was discussing the side effects and staring at the wall, which I considered very rude. Was late in the day and he probably was tired and frustrated but by no means should he take it out on the patient. The staff on the other hand is very nice. Looking for a new doctor now ...

Dr Sanchez Is a caring and knowledgeable physician. He has been our family doctor for 15 years and has demonstrated over and over his ability to understand what is being said and what is not being said. Doctor Sanchez is personable and easy to talk to while having and intuitive capability to diagnose the real problem. we could not ask for a better physician!

I have been searching for a good doctor with a caring bedside manner and a courteous office staff for years. Dr. Sanchez is the perfect combination of everything. He is extremely knowledgeable especially in today's environment where the patient's have access to the internet & think they already have the problem diagnosed! He will ask me numerous probing questions and family history questions to get to the bottom of my problems. He always will get diagnostics done if he feels the need to be on the safe side. I feel very confident in referring friends and family to him.

Dr. Sanchez has been my doctor for mroe than 14 years. I have had few complaints that I was unable to resolve. Dr. Jose is attentive, assertive, no-nonsense and compassionate. He has led me in the right direction regarding follow-up care. For as long as he is in San Antonio, I hope to be a his patient. He treats my son, daughter and husband. I hope he remans in SAT, TX! I would not have made it this far without him. Sure there are some things he may not care for: (law-suits, workers comp, etc). That's his professional choice. I have had but 2 opportunities, thank goodness, to be involved in such actions. I refer all of my friends to him. He is a GREAT DOCTOR! iF YOU ASK QUESTIONS, HE TAKES THE TIME TO ANSWER YOU. IT IS OUR RESPONSIBILITY TO PREPARE OUR QUESTIONS FOR THE DOCTOR.

Forms diagnosis before you can finish telling him the problem. Very rude. After changing to another Dr. in the practice, I mentioned what I thought about him to his staff, they replyed "at least you don't have to work with him, we all hope he quits"!
