I saw Dr. Henske for the first time. He is a pleasant doctor and took the time to answer all my questions. He did an ultrasound on my thyroid and ordered blood tests. He immediately contacted me with my results. He also told me he is good about getting back to his patients with any questions or concerns, and not to hesitate to call him. I trust him and will be back. I am so glad to have found this doctor. I highly recommend Dr. Henske.

Very happy with Dr. Henske. I find him courteous, caring and skilled. My appts. are timely and I find his staff friendly and just as caring. Most important, my diabetes has improved since I started seeing him. I would and do recommend Dr. Henske to my family and friends.

If it was possible to give 0 stars I would! I made an appointment as a new patient a month in advance. When the day came for my scheduled appointment, they informed me that it had not been entered into the system. The receptionist asked Dr. Henske if he could fit me in and he was unable to do so....mind you there was no body in the waiting area. To make it even more frustrating, I had my 16 month baby with me who I had to wake up from his nap to make the appointment!!! I will never go back to that office nor Dr. Henske. Incompetent office and unaccomodating Dr.

I had a great experience. I'm a newbie for myself in diabetes, but it runs in my family so I was prepared for the diagnosis. Other reviews mentioned his eye contact and personality, but I didn't have a problem in that area. The first run through the medication mix has brought me back into range for my glucose levels. I would suggest him to others. The Lisle office is not close to public transportation, but that's not his fault. He responded to MyChart within a couple of hours with concrete steps and suggestions. He might not have appreciated my efforts to use my diabetes process as fodder for a stand up comedy routine, but I think the venue of an exam room was part of the problem.
