Dr. Gorvy immigrated to the United States in 2001, and spent two years with the Emory Residency Program. He joined PANA in 2003. He is board certified in Pediatrics, and a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. He has a strong interest in the management of children and teens with Attention Deficit Disorder, asthma and allergic conditions. Originally from South Africa, Dr. Gorvy obtained his MD and his first pediatric degree in Johannesburg. For two years he remained a member of the medical school faculty, with extensive clinical and teaching responsibilities in general pediatrics and neonatology. He was in private practice for eight years before coming to the United States with his wife and three children.

My son has been seeing Dr. Julian Gorvy for 5 years now, and we love his genuine care, professional expertise, and attention given to us during every visit. Several times, Dr. Gorvy has gone beyond his call of duty to find us the best specialists within the insurance network who would be best in helping my son. Dr. Gorvy is an excellent pediatrician and we are very grateful have met him.

He's extremely tentative to my questions and concerns about my children. He's very informative, and is always willing to take extra time with me when needed.

We found Dr Gorvy when my son was about 5 months old. Our previous doctors (it was a practice) sent us to whoever was free and the doctors rarely even introduced themselves much less spoke to us. Dr Gorvy is attentive and very good with our active child. We've never had a problem booking a sick visit. Well child can take a bit longer for obvious reasons. I appreciate his practicality and he doesn't speak to us like idiots or make us feel like we're wasting his time. I'll be sad to lose him when we move.
