Dr. Karin Mitchell Dodge, MD

My experience with Dr. Dodge was awful. I tried so long to get along with her and see if it was just me being overly critical. After a year of this, I realized she was medically gaslighting me. Every time I would bring up a concern she would say "well, you're young and healthy so you must just not understand what you're talking about." When I came in for vertigo, she listed it as "fatigue." When I said that I think I had a connective tissue disorder, she told me that I was fishing for a diagnosis and it was more likely my father had it (the geneticist disagreed). She was frustrating for someone who was trying to get their chronic (sometimes debilitating) conditions diagnosed. If you need care for anything more complicated than common illnesses, seek another provider. Karin Dodge will offer you simplistic, dismissive responses that do not answer the original problem you came in for. On a good note, her nurses are lovely.

Great Dr who listen to what you have to say And answers any question and explains any concerns you may have. She is great. She will tell what's exactly wrong with you and what you are doing wrong. She will admit she is wrong. My mom and I think highly of her
