Dr Karl J. Christoffersen, MD

Three months ago I was walking outside when I felt a pop behind my knee. I was falling down when I grabbed on to a fence and was taken home by some wonderful strangers. I was in terrible pain. Christoffersen told me I had a Baker's cyst. No MRI. He wouldn't discuss any other diagnosis, even when I told him my sister had torn her meniscus. For my pain? Tylenol. Last week I went to another doctor who took an MRI. Results- torn meniscus, PCL ligament tear, sprain of MCL. I wish I could sue him.

Dr. Christoffersen personally called me after I got a coritsone injection. He seemed very thorough in addressing all my questions and concerns.

Mis-diagnosed after 8 weeks of severe knee pain as radiculopathy with knee arthritis when actually I had a torn meniscus and only minor arthritis. Did not even order MRI which was clearly indicated after 8 weeks of disability from pain.

Short wait time, very professional, informative and to the point with my medical issues. I was recommended by three people after Dr. Wainer retired. I've only seen him three times but would recommend him to others.
