Wonderful surgeon

Have had two total hip replacement surgeries, one in 2006 and the other in 2013, both done by Dr. Mow at Stanford. Superfast recovery. Great care by Dr. Mow, Stanford Hospital, Dr. Mow's staff. Would not have anyone else handle my ortho surgeries. I highly recommend him.

I had a great esperience with Dr Mow, he is attentive, and very professional, while having compassion. I had a very quick recovery, and was back on the tennis court in just over 2 months.

I had a total knee replacement due to severe damage to tthe joint. the night following susrgery, I had a reaction to the morphine. Dr Mow came to the hospital and spent several hours assuring that I was okay. He also manipulatead the new joint which certainly led to bettre recovery of movment and flexibilty.

Had my knees replaced by Dr. Mow 1 year ago - followed his directions and had NO problems what so ever - researched other doctors before deciding on him and found him to be the most informative, hands on surgeon - I had other surgeries before the replacements and he is by far the most professional, thorough and caring physician I've met. Can't understand why there are negatives reviews about him, I expereinced NONE of the issues mentioned

This man lovingly handcrafts his hip replacements. Whe Ireceived a card from him when he was in Japan, I accused hiim of having his wife write it and he did not hesitate to correct me and let me know in no uncertain terms that he wrote it himself. These are marks of a true perfectionist. Someone who loves his work, and therefore cares deeply about it and his patient, clearly. When you love what you do, you excel. I have mentioned his name in ER's and found people had already heard of him. I need not say more. His accolades speak for him.

I found Dr. Mow to be lacking in compassion. I'm sure he's a good surgeon, even though he did not do my surgery but only followed me post-operatively, but he was rough, disinterested, and hurried. It took going to another orthopedic surgeon to have a correct diagnosis made,and having the first surgery "re-done." I would not recommend his "care."
