Dr. Karla Michelle Ledoux, DO

(ZERO STAR RATING) Dr. Karla Ledoux was one of the WORST doctors I have EVER seen in my 12 years of seeing neurologists. She was EXTREMELY dismissive. EXTREMELY rude. EXTREMELY rough physically! I was in an episode of temporary involuntary paralysis which caused my face to twist/droop and my eye to close, visibly knowing so and after being verbally notified of my condition and pain she continued to tell me to open my eye and proceeded to forcefully open my eye with her hand causing pain to my head and neck while doing so. She was continuously cutting me off as I was explaining my symptoms and told me I was “rambling” she said I was “dumped on her” and that she doesn’t know what to tell me or how to help me and that I “failed” at treatment when asking what methods I have tried and recommended to try certain ones again after being notified and acknowledging that they in fact did not help. The Piedmont network had been nothing but help to me but this contracted employee could potentially… bring a bad reputation to a good place. I will be returning under a different doctor’s care but I wouldn’t ever see this doctor again under any circumstances

Was a terrible experience. I will never see her again. She seemed as if her time was more important than mine. She didn't have time for any question she basically told me to only answer yes or no to her questions. Because she didn't have time to listen. She didn’t want to hear what I had to say. She went over the medication that they prescribed me at my hospital discharge. They told me to only take the meds for 3 months and they would look into changing it if needed to be. Well, that wasn't addressed either. Now here i am no answers and looking for another Doctor. Shame of Piedmont to have this Doctor as a contractor doctor. You don't care about your patients nor their care. FIND YOU SOMETHING ELSE TO DO!

SEE THIS PERSON AT YOUR OWN RISK. First, i gave her one star because 0 was not an option. This person (I refuse to call her a doctor) is probably the worst I have ever encountered. She is arrogant, uncaring and has something less than any bedside manner. At my first vist she speant the first 5 minutes reaming me out for being late for my appointment. I was at the hospital in plenty of time, but was sent to the wrong location where I spent 15-20 minutes waiting in line at the receptionist only to find out they had sent me to the wrong practice and the wrong floor. I believe it was at my second visit that she referred me to a neuro phsychologist for an assessment. After waiting literally months to see that person I spent about 3 days of my life going through an extensive battery of tests amd qiestionnaires. The test results were sent to this person shortly after the assessment was complete. When I finally had a follow-up telehealth appointment with this person, it was like the… first time she had ever seen me. I mentioned the neuro pschycologist assessment, she didn't even remember referring me and had not reviewed the report that I spent 3 days of my life completing on her suggestion. As many of her other reviews stated, she was primarily interested in getting rid of me and ringing her cash register again. She did prscribe generic aricept (donepezil) based on my interpretation of the neuro pschologist assessment, not her's since she never even bothered to read it. Shortly after starting to take donepezil i developed a rash and sent her a MyChart question about whether or not it could cause a rash. Her nurse (I assume) responded basically that any medication could cause a rash. Needless to say, I was touched by her outpouring of concern. Subsequently I have asked my primary physician for a referral to Owensboro Health for a different neurologist, which he did. However, Owensboro Health refused to refer me to another doctor, saying it was against their "protocols" and trying to force me to see this person again. I explained my issues with the person, but they seem to care less about that. In conclusion I would say SEE THIS PERSON AT YOUR OWN PERIL AND BE PREPARED TO MANAGE YOUR OWN CARE.

Amazing Doc best ever cured my headaches and tremor highly recommend plus easy on the eyes

Was a terrible experience. She seemed rushed. If I had any questions she took it that I was arguing with her. She didn’t want to hear what I had to say so she proscribed me the same mess I was already on just to get me out the door. I took off work for that day and it was a huge waste of my time because now I have to pay someone else to see me that has time for me

Dr. Ledoux spent a lot of time going over my symtons and trying to get a grasp for what I have been going through, whereas the other doctors I had seen seemed more interested in hurrying me out the door. Great to find a doctor that actually cares, one of the best doctors and nicest people I've ever met.

After suffering with migraine headaches for 29 years, Dr. Ledoux used a fairly short course of action and I have been headache free for 14 years. She's a hero.

Does anyone know the Dr that took over for Dr Karla Ledoux-Coton? I've misplaced my papers I received and I need to get my records for my new neurologist. Thanks in advance.
