Dr. Kate M Dove, DO

I spent 7 weeks in the NIC with my first born. Our first trip to Dr. Dove I was nervous that she wouldn't know exactly what to do with our premie and I would have to fill her in on everything and be cautious. The very opposite was true. She knew our daughters full history and everything that they had done at the NIC. I was blown away I didn't have to fill her in on anything. She preemptively answered questions and allayed fears. She never has tried to rush us on she does a thorough exam and makes sure that we don't have any questions unanswered before we leave. We are happy to have her as our doctor

Dr. Dove has our children's pediatrician since we moved back to Manhattan 4 yrs ago. Before leaving Manhattan we had Dr. Rose who was horrible to say the least so we knew we would be looking for a new Dr when we moved back. After seeing a couple other Dr's we had the privilege of meeting Dr. Kate Dove and she was wonderful! She took her time and took great care of our daughter (then 2.5), listened to us and our daughter. And our daughter really liked her because she actually talked to her and asked her questions and connected with her making her feel important and like a friend. Not like we were just another number on a chart to get through like another Dr. We are always treated with kindness & respect. Shes even made late night calls to check in on our child. No other Dr. has ever done that. We always refer people to her when looking for a Dr. Thank You Dr. Dove for being an amazing Dr.!

Dr. Dove has been my pediatrician of choice since she came to the area. I am a very active foster parent and I'mAlways able to get my children seen in a timely manner. In addition, she connects well with my children regardless of age on a personalized level. Dr. Dove actively listens and addresses each of my concerns. She takes care of the appropriate footwork like contacting other hospitals, doctors, case managers right away to ensure that our children receive the care needed. I would and do recommend her to friends and others looking for a pediatrician.

This doctor does not have good bedside manners. She made me feel like I knew nothing about my child. I told her my child has asthma and I felt she was wheezing. She told me that she would determine that. In other words, she talks down to people. Never went back to her.

Dr Dove spent time asking my 14 year old about herself, her interests and her activities. Like most young teens, Rachel does not like to talk to many adults but was talking, laughing and joking with Dr Dove by the end of her visit. This personal touch, along with good medical care, made me feel that Dr Dove is an excellent doctor.

This doctor is a quack. When I asked two questions in a row. She told me to slow down and let her speak. She didnt do an exam and had to ask and repeat several questions because she didnt listen to the answers my oldest daughter gave (17 yrs old). My daughter also got yelled at for shutting off her cell phone while the doctor was "seeing"her. she went in for ABD pain and she didnt even get an ABD exam. The doctor was rude to our entire family. And when she couldnt give us answers, i asked for a second doctor, she got mad and told us we would have to make another appt. I went out to the reception made an appt with a better doctor-which I should of done in the first place and we were seen another 30 minutes later-which was well worth the wait then.
