Too Fast needs to spend more time with patients

Poor bedside manner. This doctor is rude and snide.

Title says it all

I had an appointment on 03-03-20 in Dr Gandhi's Vernon Hills office and found - as usual - her staff to be very competent and respectful of me as a patient and Dr Gandhi herself to be thorough and professional. I have been seeing Dr Gandhi for over 10 years and travel over 40 miles from my new home in St Charles to continue to enjoy the benefit of her expertise and demeanor. I have changed all of my other health care providers since my move but do not intend to give up Dr Gandhi's counsel.

I was shocked when I got her bill. She billed over $600.00 for a quick exam and for cryotherapy on two areas of my scalp. Unfortunately, Medicare and my supplement paid for everything except my $198 plan G deductible. I have been a physician and graduated from a med school when she was still in diapers and find it hard to believe that she is overbilling Medicare. I do not see how she gets away with her over-billing. I will be contacting Medicare and bring them up to date on her billing activities.

Horrible! Terrible! My appointment was at 2:45pm, that had asked me to be 15 mins early which I was. I was only called at about 3:40pm. They were unsure of what my appointment was about and made me fill more forms. I waited till 4:15pm and then walked out. The staff is also not courteous. Another man had also walked out after waiting 1 hr. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Waited OVER 1 hours to see the doctor for a quick 5 minute skin cancer check. Then was asked if I wanted a prescription for another skin issue I have. The Dr. said they would send my prescription into my pharmacy. Well they never even called in my prescription. Finally after a week I called back to see if it had been sent to my pharmacy and they didn't even have a record of what prescription the Dr. wanted me to try. I thought maybe this was a bad day for the doctor, but my son went to her a few days after my appointment and he also had to wait for over an HOUR. They also didn't called in his prescription either and he had to call them a few days later to get them to send in his prescription to our pharmacy. We will NOT be returning to this doctor. My time is as valuable as hers and it is disrespectful to disregard our time. She didn't even apologizes for making us wait for over an hour. When I have an appointment time I don't think an hour late is appropriate unless there is… some kind of emergency (pretty sure there isn't Dermatology emergencies). Seems to be a general comment from other patients about the long waiting time so I don't think it is was just a bad week for her. I think its bad scheduling or overbooking appt. DON'T book more appointments than you can handle in a hour.

Both myself and my husband have been seeing her for a couple of years. I have had to walk out because I can't wait any longer to see her. Last time the office staff told me to book an appointment after lunch so I wouldn't have to wait. I did so, only to walk in to a full waiting room. She had booked 4 people at the same time, so I still had to wait almost an hour to see her. I will not go back. I don't want to see someone who is so disrespectful of her patient's time. She needs to start thinking of her patients and their needs.

Awful! I would not recommend her at all. She overbooks like crazy! I was in the waiting room talking to a few others only to find out we all had the same appointment time! It’s not uncommon to wait for 1-2 hours beyond your appointment time. A full body check she does in 5 minutes. Those should ideally take at least 30 minutes or more. She is in a huge rush to get you out the door.

Once I had waited an hour, I got dressed again and walked out. I don't generally write reviews, but perhaps Dr. Gandhi will begin to book with more consideration to her patients. I won't be back.
