I had an ablation in May, 2008 with Dr. Sweeten. I must say, "Dr. Sweeten and her staff were wonderful." Her and her staff were wonderful. My ablation worked 100% and I am so happy with the results. I see some of the comments, that it didn't work." "It only lessened your periods." Guess what? Back in 2008 Dr. Sweeten said, "she didn't guarantee that it may stop all together." She did say, "it may just lesson it." I know she tells all her patients that. I am wondering if everyone heard her say that or you just assumed she said that. I have 2 Sisters and they borh had an ablation. Not done by Dr. Sweeten. 1 Sister's stopped completely and the other one lessened it. Then there is me and it stopped completely. 2 out of 3 is not bad. So what I am trying to say just like Dr. Sweeten said, "it's not a guarantee that it will stop completely. " If I had the chance to go to her again I would. Thank you Dr. Sweeten for doing my ablation and making my period stop completely.

At first i was glad that I went to see her. Had my procedure done and thought from there everything would be just as she stated. Not so. 9months later and my periods are worse and even more painful. I would highly reccomend avoiding her. See a regular gynecologist.

This was my first time at Dr. Sweeten's office and I saw seen by Kelly Bilof (NP). She was very welcoming and kind. She also followed up with me over the phone about my visit the previous day. It was much appreciated!

The procedures I had were StopFlo and Essure. I had to go to the clinic 3x for procedures plus my initial visit. I only saw Dr Sweeten 2x out of those visits and she was very impersonal. StopFlo did not work for me at all. Shortly after the procedure, I had my period for 17 days. When I contacted them, they said the procedure was not guaranteed and there was nothing they could do. The doctor was out of the country for 2 months so I couldn't go in to be checked. All they could do was check my hemoglobin (Im anemic). I still owe for anesthesia, which is outrageous. Im completely unsatisfied with the procedures.

I would rate 5 on all, but i really want to emphasize how comfortable Dr. Sweeten makes you feel; which is VERY important especially for that area.

I initially went to Dr. Sweeten for a uterine ablation. I found the office staff and the doctor to be abrupt and unfriendly. The office was dirty, with lint on the floor and a dirty handprint on the exam room table. They gave me any exam room gown to change into that they had placed in a milk crate where other people had put their shoes and seemed annoyed that I requested a clean gown, which I am not 100% sure I received. My menstrual issues persisted after the uterine ablation. Six months after the procedure, I was diagnosed with adhesions which are scar tissue that builds up in the uterine cavity after trauma. In my case, it was the ineffective treatment by Dr. Sweeten. Since she was quite clear that'd be didn't follow up with patients after surgery, I chose this seek treatment from a REAL doctor who is a skilled professional. The damage that Dr. Sweeten created resulted in a need for a hysterectomy.

I would never recommend this Dr. to anyone, horrible!

I had the ablation last year. This is the best thing I have ever done for my self. I was done having kids, my husband had a vasectomy and I had horrible periods! I now have zero periods! I would recommend going to see Dr. Sweeten to have this procedure. It has changed my life!!

Took 1 month to receive blood results after calling 3 times. Not all results were emailed to me. Was concerned about my thyroid and after 6 weeks, still no information. I found out I am menopausal, but no hormone suggestions. I have been going to Dr. Sweeten for 10 years and never had any complaints til this year. Things seemed different this time. She did not seem to care about my issues or offer any suggestions. I gave the staff 3 stars because most of them are very good, but the back office and medical records girls do not return phone calls.
