I've been an ortho patient since birth. This Dr is the worst. I had a failing 18 year old hip replacement . I had a shoe lift that changed from 5/8th inch to nearly 2 inches. This man complained about my HMO and did not replace the rod that was moving. He only changed the ball and the neck. The rod continued to move and I ended up disabled.

In contrast to his statement on his profile, Dr. Walsh is a rude, arrogant, insensitive lout. Did not do a good job of telling me what to expect. Cannot stand him.

Yes, he will probably be late for your appointment. But, he is the rare doctor that really listens to you once you get him in the room with you. He was polite, showed genuine concern and made objective recommendations based on evidence of actual outcomes. He also patiently answered all of my questions -- another rare experience in today's medical system. I recommend Dr. Walsh for those reasons.

Always wait over and hour for scheduled appointments. Office workers total think this is normal, and have no sympathy for any patient's. Either stupid or totaly incompetent,. They make Dr. Wallsh look bad, Dupage Medical Group seems to be more greedy than caring. Step it up boys, extend appointment times while making them, or throw out the usless on line scheduling program and put a human in its place!

Dr Walsh is arrogant, doesn’t listen and is an elitist. I have been to other orthos and Dr Kevin Walsh is by far the absolute worst. Everyone needs money and obviously 90% of docs are in it for the money, but man oh man does he let it show. I would go to anyone else, but him. Horrible and not trustworthy. Read reviews! Will you trust him? Innocent looking enough, but nope.

Dr. Walsh performed my original replacement in 2007 (hip). I needed a knee replaced, so returned to him for evaluation and surgery in 2014. Finally the other hip fell to arthritis in 2016 and Dr. Walsh performed that replacement. Every surgery was perfectly performed with no complications. Recovery time depends on how hard you work. I need a shoulder replacement from a fracture. If I choose to go ahead with the surgery, I have no hesitation to ask Dr. Walsh to do it.

Dr. Walsh is arrogant,doesn't care about patients input on pain, claims he is better than all surgeons at DMG, and has left me crippled for life following a bi-lateal TKR that failed, leaving me a cripple, as well as crippling my hands and finger using a leg screw driven into the end of my finger. He did 5 surgeries in 2 months and never should have done any of them, Incompetent and is a high volume Dr. for insurance companies. Sat clear of this man.

As someone who has had several sports related surgeries, I appreciate the experience, education, background and skill of Dr Walsh. Always good assessments, treatments and when required, surgeries. Do your part on post surgery pt and you’ll minimize downtime. Great doctor.

I waited over an hour in his waiting room when I had arrived on time. When I was finally seen he was rude and didn’t apologize.
