Dr. Kirk Alan Paulk, MD

Dr. Paulk has been my doctor since I moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. He's been an excellent doctor and I echo all the same sentiments his other patients have stated. He's one of the rare ones!

Dr. Paulk is a great doctor. He is thorough and makes time for his patients to answer all their questions. He's got a great bedside manner - funny and personable, and I feel like I can talk to him like a regular person. He is not condescending or arrogant as some doctors can be.

I been seeing Dr. Paulk for better than 10 years. Always pleasant, professional, very knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about patients.

They don't come any better. Ever heard of a doctor calling you back at 11PM ? He did, listened to my symptoms, and had me checked in to the hospital in an hour where my gall bladder was found full of stones and removed. When my wife suddenly became ill with melanoma he took care of her even though she wasn't his patient, and when she went to the Lord, Dr. Paulk drove across town to attend the funeral. I've been his patient for 15 years or so, and he has always done the best by me. A super, dedicated man!

Dr. Paulk is a rare find in today's medical community. He is very caring and takes the time to really understand his patients. He is very inquisitive and knowledgeable. I have great confidence in his ability to identify and diagnose medical conditions. He is also a great source for referrals to other specialists and he knows when his patients need to consult with them. Even then, he continues to be engaged and collaborates with other doctors involved in his patients' care. I truly feel fortunate to have found Dr. Paulk.

I have some unusual problems the past years. He addressed what he could and got me to appropriate specialist. He is practical. I can tell he enjoys being a physician. He is the only doctor I trust.

13 doctors had dismissed my symptoms because the blood work kept coming up normal. Only Dr. Paulk promised to keep looking until he found an explanation and he sure did find one. I had thyroid cancer. He's called me from his cell phone on his way to dinner to give me results and while I usually see his PA unless there's something really major going on, I know I can always call and leave him a message or email him. He's a very caring doctor. He's a little ADD/hyper sometimes and it can get distracting so bring your talking points written down so you don't forget them but I highly recommend him and his entire staff.

Great staff. Great office. Nice robes instead of typical gowns. awesome profile oriented web page where you can look up your labs and vitals online. Dr. Paulk is so attentive. He took an entire hour with me on my physical asking everything under the sun to be sure he was not missing a single detail. I highly recommend him.

Really knows his stuff; personable, great sense of humor, expects his staff to be just as professional as he is. I had a bad accident and needed to be in a rehab facility for awhile...he came to visit me and referred me to an awesome orthopedist. He listens well. He's the man.

Dr. Paulk's practice has obviously gotten too large. He looks stressed out, you feel rushed and that he has no time for you. His focus is elsewhere.
