Dr. Kirsten Ancker Bracht, MD

She did not listen nor was deeply interested in improving my health. She was stubborn and not interested in the history of my health. She only was protecting other doctor's errors. She was assumptive and not open to MY medical issues. She did not help me at all. I would never recommend her.

SHE IS A VERY CARING DR. I WOULD CERTAINLY RECOMEND HER.

Previously saw an wonderful neurologist, specializing in sleep disorders, who gave me such hope for sleep deprivation relief. He was knowledgeable about how sleep was harder for people with autism, and he had many strategies for us to try to help my son sleep better. He moved, and we waited four months for an appointment with Dr. Bracht. She was very knowledgeable, but was short with us, and actually scolded my adult autistic son for cracking his knuckles. After our visit, my son wondered why she was so rude. I wondered too.

Wonderful and kind staff. I feel that they do all they can to answer any and all questions and are up front about the fees. They call a couple days ahead to remind me of my appointments and that is above and beyond. Dr. Bracht is amazing and makes the visit very comfortable. I have been seizure free since my move to CO from TX and she has been my neurologist since the move. I feel she is a God send for me. I couldn't be happier.

Slightly unhappy with the office staff... very rude, impatient, and I even saw a certain desk clerk roll her eyes at me when I asked for a pen...However.... Overall, Dr. Bracht is a very great doctor. I have epilepsy and she makes me feel safe and definitely not alone. She cares, tries her best to understand, and always takes you into consideration before giving you a perscription (ie "will you be ok with the drowsy side effect? if it causes too much problems on your school work, we will lower the dosage, etc.) I would highly recommend you go to Dr. Bracht. I have been seizure-free since I first started going to her (2 years!!).

While there was a bit of a wait for my initial appointment (6 weeks) it was worth it. Dr Bracht's office was up front about the fee schedule and they were very good about handling my insurance company. I have difficult pathology which was expertly handled by Dr Bracht. She has been diligent about my care and able to return me to full function. Urgent appointments (in my experience) are always seen the same day.

After waiting 2 months to see Dr.Bracht (soonest ava. appt.), I received an info packet in the mail 1 week prior to scheduled appt., it included a fee schedule for all administrative tasks a patient could be charged for ($25-$250). Bottom line, the fees were exorbitant, I declined to sign it and I was refused to be seen on the day I came for my appt. I have since found a wonderful neurologist who has a professional front office staff that does not charge the patient to do their job.
