Dr. Lawrence Michael Cecchi, MD

In 2020, Dr. Cecchi diagnosed me with a condition but did not convey it to me. The diagnosis was conveyed to me at my next visit by the tech/assistant. At that visit, I asked Dr. Cecchi why he did not convey that diagnosis directly to me. He held up his hand to my face and said, "My patients don't want to know anything". I then adamantly stated that I DO want to know whatever is going on with my eyes. He then examined my eyes and told the tech to delete that diagnosis from my file stating that I do not have it (oddly, only surgery can remove the condition). At this same visit, he diagnosed me with something different and again, did not convey it directly to me. Once I discovered that he repeated his unprofessional behavior, I emailed him asking why again he neglected to convey the diagnosis directly to me. His response was very evasive. An ophthalmologist at a different practice confirmed that I had neither of Dr. Cecchi's diagnoses. He became my new opthamologist. My experiences… with Dr. Cecchi have been very concerning, frustrating and lead me to view him as a dishonest and fraudulent medical professional.

Excellent care and diagnosis. I saw three technicians before seeing the Doctor and all explained everything they were doing and what each piece of equipment was measuring. Alternatives for care were well explained by Dr. Cecchi. Prompt and timely service at time of planned appointment. Courteous people.

I would highly recommend Dr Cecchi and his staff. Today was my first visit and I was truly impressed by how warm and professional my experience was. Dr Cecchi was very thorough and took his time making sure he explained everything completely. I am definitely pleased that I made the move to transfer my eye care to this office.

Wonderful and friendly staff all around. Never felt hurried like I experienced at another ophthalmologist office. Dr. Cecchi explained everything thoroughly as well as outlining my best options and including me in the process. Scheduler for cataract surgery was very patient and process was easy.

I highly recommend Dr. Cecchi and his staff!!! They are true professionals and he takes the time needed to talk to his patients and explain everything in terms that are understandable! He did cataract surgery on both my eyes. Painless and a great experience.

I've been going to this practice for general ophthalmologic care since Dr Griffin's reign, and have been equally happy with Dr Cecchi (since he acquired the practice in 2012). He has an easy-going demeanor with patients, takes time for my questions, seems to take a protective pride in his patients' care, and has a consistently top-notch staff. I've referred others to this practice as well.

From start to finish I was treated with the upmost respect, care and compassion. All members of the staff set the tone for your initial visit with Dr. Cecchi. The preliminary exams by Mary Beth and Sarah were professional done and any questions were answered with a smile and knowledge of your questions that were asked. Dr. Cecchi is not only professional in his interaction with a new patient but I found him to be treating me as a real person and not just a number. He was very thorough and took the time to fully explain all my medical issues and answered my questions in a way that I could fully understand. My double cataract surgery went with out any problems and I feel very thankful and blessed to have had such a wonderful doctor to have had my best interest in mind.
