I’ve seen Dr. Fichter on many occasions. Surgery and regular visits, he knows his profession well and dedicated his life to serving Putnam and Kanawha residents. He saved many lives.

Terrible and most uncaring Dr ever would never go back to him

im a student and after working with him for one day I know now I will never work at teays valley bc of him! Will never let him operate on my family members again. He treats him medical staff like a dog!! And he doesn't truly care for his patient he's only there for their money.

My thoughts on remembering this dr is that he listens to you and explains everything to you . His manner of kindness and careing for you and your problem is noticed right away. I also liked the feeling you get waiting to see him in an office filled with great music that puts you in a great mood that you dont care about the wait. I liked his confidence at finding what to do and how to do it .To help you get better. I have looked a long time to find a dr of this magnitude that will work for and with you . His staff and all who i have met that works with him are just as nice and helpful also and i will and do tell all my friends about this wonderful Dr. I am getting ready to have my second surgery by him and I would not want anyone else but him to do it . I feel that he is a God send to me and to all his patiences . May God keep blessing your life and your gift of helping people . and most of all Thanks from the bottom of my heart for helping me .

Dr. Fichter has done surgery on me, my daughter, and my late husband he is a very good surgeon and yes I have recommend him to my friends. He has excellent bedside manners when he visit his patients in the hospital. On Fridays he goes to the *Wound Care Center * and he works there .
