My daughter is 3 1/2. She did not engage with my scared child. She was sick and Dr Maffei barely acknowledged she was there. Moved to this area looking for a new pediatrician and she is not it. She didn't even Take a moment to show her the tools she was using. She wanted me to hold her down so she could be done with her.

I had a terrible experience with this Dr. Her bedside manner left lots to be desired. She disregarded my history of the problem with my daughter and brushed me off saying " I can only see what I can see" as if what I had seen was completely irrelevant. She repeatedly told my daughter (barely 3yrs) to be quiet so she could talk, and when my daughter expressed curiosity with her stethoscope she would not engage that curiosity. She also entered the exam room without knocking, did not introduce herself and promptly began typing instructions for another patient while in our exam room. Thank goodness she is not our regular physician, I would leave the practice
