Dr. Mansel Kevwitch, MD

Talked me into getting surgical mesh implants that started to have complications that he did not know how to fix. He had unprofessional responses to my questions, and was arrogant. I had to have two more surgeries at UW Seattle to fix his mistakes. Still dealing with complications. Run away from this butcher. He should not practice on women.

My husband and I had the privilege of meeting Dr Kevitch on July 19th 2023. Dr. Kevitch is so personable. He explained everything in detail to my husband, relieving so much of his stress. He took so much time with us until all questions were answered. He is very knowlegable and caring. Im a retired RN and have worked aside many physicians. Kevitch rates 5 big stars in my book.

Are you kidding? Kevwitch should have had his license suspended by the state Medical Commission and AMA years ago. The devastation we were left with was devastating and life-altering. It's was his lucrative unaccountable negligence that made it possible for him to afford his own practice. What he did was nothing short of criminal. It's appalling that he is STILL practicing at various hospitals.

Took my husband to see Dr Kevwitch after a hospitalization from complications of chronic UTI's. We are new to the area so found him online with no referrals. My husband was having some vague neurological symptoms as well. I found Dr K to be a very clear and direct communicator and I appreciated his approach. We all have different expectations of physicians, their "bedside" manner, etc. We were there to seek advice based on his experience and expertise and received that in a very professional presentation of how to proceed to prevent further complications. We will continue to see this knowledgeable physician .

Kept me waiting over an Hour. Disagreed with everything I said. Went back on statements he had previously made.

Very rude Dr. I have seen urologists since age 7 I'm 57 now. I last saw Dr Kevwitch 6 years ago. His nurse failed to call in a prescription twice, when I called the after hours #. He answered. I told him I waited 2 days for the prescription and had a massive UTI. He yelled at me because the pharmacist wouldn't talk to Dr.Kevwitch on the phone. Dr Stafonovich at Virginia Mason is the best Urologist I've been to.

I was in bad pain and was told I had cancer I went two places before going to dr kevwith and the best info and care was with him

Although knowledgeable I think Dr. Kevwitch needs to rethink his bedside manner and also some of his care Protocols. My father has been treated for prostate cancer by DrK. He has repeatedly had to enter the hospital for bleeds. On several occasions now Dr. Kevwitch has not only spoken down to me, he has Berated my own profession and talked to me about other patients which I consider very inappropriate. I will be looking for a second opinion soon. I cannot recommend this physician at all.

I saw this DR for kidney stones a few times. He performed Lythotripsy on me which left me in more pain then i had with the stones. Then the next round of stones i had, i went in to see him, had images taken and he told me i didnt have stones. WRONG! I went for a second opinion at a large medical facility elsewhere and they did images and found not 1, but 6 stones. Will never see this guy again and i would recommend you dont either.

I saw Dr Kevwitch after I was diagnosed with a large Kidney Stone. He performed a surgery (Lithotripsy) that eventually enabled me to pass the stone. He knows his stuff and has the rare ability to talk to his patients like they are regular people not part of the medical field. Most Dr's don't take the time to get their patients to fully understand what is ailing them. Dr. K does, and to me this is a great quality for a Dr. to have. I would definitely see him again and would highly reccomend him to others who have any Urological issues.

Dr. Kevwich did a laser procedure on my prostate. He messed it up and I had serious pain. Unfortunately, I let him try again, and was charged again. Since the second procedure I am worst off than when I started. Dr. Kevwich is a vain and pedantic twit who does not listen. I would recommend that everyone stay away from him !!!

Very satisfied with diagnosis and treatment. Puts me at ease for uncomfortable examination. Very good communication regarding condition and treatment. Highly recommended

I would not recommend. I showed up 30the minutes early just like I was asked on the phone when I made my appointment. Then I sat for an hour and 15 minutes. I was then brought to an exam room. A gal started doing something with a machine of sorts which I felt she should have told me what she was doing, so as to put me at ease. It builds confidence for a patient who is already wondering what he has been waiting so long for. So then I wait for 25 more minutes. While sitting in the room now waiting for Dr. Kevwitch, I realize how paper thin the walls are. I can hear the exams take place in the rooms next to me. It was interesting to listen though. I did begin to lose my patience though, when I started listening to what I assumed was my Dr. that I have yet to meet telling a ten minute story to the nursing staff outside my exam room. Turns out his kids have good etiquette on airplanes. Neat. Waiting. Waiting. Now he is wasting 5 minutes while everyone is searching for his misplaced stethoscope... but finally, enter Doctor! I was pretty irritated by all this time wasted. The time with Doc was quick. My exam went fine although i had little confidence in his attentiveness. If I ever need a urologist again, it won't be at Pacific Rim Urology.

Very thoughtful diagnosis. Another doc recommended surgery. Dr. Kevwitch recommended a non-surgical option that has turned out to be workable without the cost and possibly horrible side effects of this type of surgery.

Dr. Kevwich performed a Prostate Surgery on me an left me feeling worse than before. He Performed the surgery a second time, and left me with new problems. He is arrogant and doesn't listen.

My husband was diagnosed with metastisized prostate cancer and we were referred to Dr. Kevwitch and have been impressed with his care, concern, knowledge and accessibility. I can't imagine anyone being displeased with his care. We certainly feel well taken care of and in good hands.

Dr Kevwitch has seen me for a number of reasons and I feel I was in perfect hands on all occasions.

Im not going to bash him but i can tell you that he does not meet my standards of care and after 2 procedures my stones were not mitigated.

At first, I thought this doctor was very young.. but going by his education and experience it's obvious he takes care of himself, and definitley knows his stuff. He operated on my husband for prostate cancer, and my husband is very happy with both the operation and the care given by Dr. Kevwich. It's a scary time when one realizes they have this cancer, and Dr. Kevwich is the one man who will make you relax, and make you to feel everything will be alright. He has inner confidence in himself and you KNOW he isn't giving you false hopes, but more, he is letting you know he has handled these operations many times over many years. If you are reading this for your husband, be assured your in good hands with Dr. Kevwich.

I would look elsewhere in Mt. Vernon for a competent, caring urologist who is accessible and who has competent knowledgeable and caring staff. They're out there.
