Excellent with delivering babies!

Would not recommend her honestly she seems like she has no idea what's going on or what she's talking about half the time. She's super weird about pain meds and will refuse no matter how much pain you're in! I had a perforated uterus due to my IUD and basically had to beg her to give me something for pain. She also delivered my son and I did not have a good experience at all. She was not my regular OB had I known she was the one that was going to deliver instead of the OB I've been seeing I would have refused.

Very very happy with Dr Abougou. She's so friendly and patient throughout my whole pregnancy!

Absolutely terrible doctor. She denied me pain medicine even when she stitched me up after a terrible tear. Horrible attitude. She is the reason why my son will be an only child because now I'm deathly afraid of going through this again. Can not say enough terrible things about her. DO NOT GO HERE!!!

Absolutely horrible experience! I would not recommend this doctor to anyone. I could not believe her attitude in the delivery room, almost like she had better things to do. How she spoke to me was unbelievable!! She doesn't act like she cares about you or your baby!

My experience was overall great! Very little wait time. Nurse was wonderful. Dr.Abougou was wonderful. Took her time talking and listening. Front office staff was nice too.

This is my first pregnancy and I have only had two appointments so far. However I have gone through nursing school, I planned this pregnancy and I know what I want as well as my patient rights. My first appointment I waited a long time, the intake nurse was nice(she no longer works there) and after a painful blood draw I waited in the exam room forever. Then when she came to talk to me she asked me questions from my intake form again? She told me I was not allowed to fly after 36wks, I was not allowed to be pregnant after 42wks, and she could only safely plan my induction at 38wks. I just have to say who does she think she is, god? So I go back for my second appointment the dreaded physical. Went through with a new nurse, she was ok the nice one was leaving. Then I went into the exam room and was told to undress and I had the paper top gown and a paper sheet for the bottom. I did so then waited an hour NAKED. I wasn't looking forward to this and had she come to me quickly I might have… been agreeable. So when she came in I denied a pelvic exam and pap. I have had one in the last three years and my risk is extremely low being young and having no family history. After that I was treated, what felt like, as though I were hostile and stupid. I did not want any pelvic exams because I know in my case they are unnecessary. She kept at it trying to convince me and tell me I had to. I told her I know somewhere I have rights. She brought a nurse into the root for the rest of my brief exam. Didn't even do a breast exam that I DO have concerns for. And then I could here her and the other nurses talking loudly about my case and laughing while I was getting dressed. They were under the assumption that this was a case of shyness. I had to sign a waiver of care for any invasive medical procedures(yay no c-section) I don't think ill go back because she isn't practicing evidence based care. As well I have read she is rough and know to break babies bones during labor. I'm having a home birth so I don't really have a concern for that. I wount tell you what to do, she can be nice from what I hear but probably not for those who have an idea of what they want. I needed to share my story. You decide.

Dr. A did the prenatal care as well as the birth of my first child. She was always knowledgeable regarding my concerns as well as respectful of my birth plan. The staff is friendly and after just a few visits, they greeted me by name. I had an easy natural birth and a healthy baby boy. A+ Doctor!!

She is by far the worst doctor I have ever seen. My wife suffered so bad during labor because of this idiot. Never go to her ever again.

This doctor was referred to me due to moving to the Watertown area late in my pregnancy. I saw reviews but I always give a person a chance. Her staff was great in getting me a quick appt and very friendly upon arriving. The wait time is crazy in this office. She seems overbooked. It is just her alone and one nurse and at the moment her nurses are out and she is using one of her front office staff to fill in. So you wait for about and hour or so get there on time or earlier. She is nice upon first meeting but the appointment is usually very quick and it seems like she is forgetting something. I had my baby 3 weeks early. She didn't want to believe I was in Labor. She kept me listed as an Outpatient in the hospital the entire labor, she tore my water sac and didn't think my water broke or that she had done it. I never received my epidural because she ordered it late. Had my child and a few days later I went to the ER with an infection she didn't believe anything was wrong. Said the other… doctors didn't know what they were talking about. Was offended because I requested someone else look at me. Couldn't tell me what was going on with me. She is incompetent in every way. I would never ever recommend her to anyone. I was terrified to go back toher for my 6 weeks appt but had no choice and I still believe I suffered under her. So my advice is to stay away from her.
