Dr. Mark William Doubrava, MD

Dr. Doubrava got us right in for an issue. Did a great job and explained everything clearly. Exceptional service and treatment from the front desk and doctor. Would recommend.

If I could give him a negative star I would. Let me start off by saying that this was my mother and sisters second visit to his office. The first visit he was snobbish, but hey whatever he knew his stuff. However, the second visit was utterly nightmarish. He made my mother cry, which takes a lot to do. He was rude and told her and I quote, "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU", then pointed to my sister (who has an autoimmune disease), "I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU TWO, I JUST CARE ABOUT MY PEOPLE" All while pointing his finger at my mother and sister. Then he left, all but slamming the door in their face. Then the nurse came in, ignoring the fact that my mother is in tears over what a doctor said to her and bulldozed her way through whatever she was saying. We were so shocked, it was hard to believe that it actually happen. After, when we were getting ready to leave, Doubrava wouldn't meet my mother or sister's eyes, even when he muttered his apologized (it was the type of apology where… it felt hollow as if he were saying it just because he had to try and save face). He may be a smart doctor, but when he is under pressure or even the little bit stressed he is the nasty man our entire family has ever had the displeasure to meet. He made my mother and my sister feel like less of a person. I will say this again, he is a terrible man and his staff tries to pretend that he isn't by ignoring it all. If you want to feel like less of a person, he's the perfect doctor for you.

Dr Doubrava pointed his finger at me and said in a very angry and sarcastic manner, “I don’t care about you, I don’t care about you two!” His face was red and he was losing it big time. He wouldn’t even let me respond he just walked out of the room and closed the door. Our whole family is looking for a new ophthalmologist now. He and his staff truly do not care about you.

The office staff is caring and patient. Dr. Dubrava is excellent. Very knowledgeable and has all of the newest and best equipment. My husband and I both had cataract surgery and the outcome was exceptional. My husband's was difficult as he had had surgery in the past to keep his retina from detaching but Dr. Dubrava knew just what to do. Cannot rave enough about him and his office.

My husband works as a contractor. Toward the end of a workday, he was hit smack in the eye by a nail which ricocheted back at him. Unsure whether I'd be able to find a doctor to see him on such short notice AND at the end of the day, we felt extremely lucky when Dr. Doubrava encouraged us to have him come in right away! Upon assessing the status of his eye, thankfully the diagnosis was a minor scratch requiring only some drops of medication to ease his healing. Dr. Doubrava was so kind as to give my husband free samples so that we wouldn't have to mess with a pharmacy visit! Additionally, these kind folks did not even charge him for the brief check-up! Needless to say, we HIGHLY recommend Dr. Doubrava!!!

I HAD BEEN TO SEVERAL DIFFERENT DOCTORS AND WAS UNABLE TO FIND ONE WHO WOULD TREAT MY CONDITION PROPERLY. DR DOUBRAVA SAVED MY EYE SIGHT. TO TOP IT OFF HE WAS VERY COOPERATIVE WITH MY FINANCIAL SITUATION & HIS STAFF IS WONDERFUL!!!

He is only interested in money. If you have no insurance and even if he THINKS you can't pay his bill he will refuse to see you. He says he is a cornea specialist, but won't take care of patients with cornea problems. Stay away
