Kids can be mean, right?! Ever since I was little, if kids were to make fun of me for something, it would be my nose. If you were to ask me at any age in my life before now if there is one thing I would change about the way I look, I would have said, my nose. It wasn't awful, but I was self conscious and not happy with it. As I aged, I noticed, the things I did not like about my nose, were becoming more accentuated. (Something Dr. Hamilton explained to me is pretty typical due to the aging process). You see, I had a cleft right at the end of my nose. A mild case of a "butt-nose" for lack of a better description. In addition, I had a deviated septum, so one nostril was way bigger then the other. As I have aged, I am now 44, I noticed both were getting worse. I finally had the financial means and desire to do something about it. I went to two different plastic surgeons...and I am SOOOO glad I did. The first one I went to, just did not feel right. It felt cheap. Neither the office itself the staff, or the consult felt very professional. Therefore, I wanted a second opinion. That is when I found Dr. Hamilton. From the moment I entered the door, it was a totally different experience. The office was clean, bright, and professional looking. The staff was kind, courteous, helpful, professional. Considering surgery can be a little nerve racking, but they put me right at ease. I felt like a valued person and not just another patient. In regards to Dr. Hamilton, I really can not say enough positive things about him. He is a true professional and is extremely knowledgeable about his craft. He has excellent bed side manners. He was never pushy or suggested I do things that do not need to be done. I felt like he genuinely listened to me and tried to really understand what "my" goals were for surgery. I felt like he cared about me as a person and wanted to help me be satisfied with the way my nose looked. I had my rhinoplasty done about a year ago (Dec. 7th, 2017). Today, I am thrilled with my new nose. I wake up every day with "0" regrets and only wish I would have done it sooner. As a result of my surgery, I have a heightened sense of confidence and am truly happy with my appearance. Thank you Dr. Hamilton! I know it may sound a little cheesy, but at the age of 44, "YOU" made a life-long dream of mine come true. Talk about job satisfaction?! That has got to be such a rewarding feeling. It should be. If you are considering facial plastic surgery, I would highly recommend Dr. Hamilton. Side note, things to be aware of...suggested tips, and things I experienced after rhinoplasty surgery: >DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT, remove the brace on your nose yourself post-op. Let Dr. Hamilton do this at the time he determines. That brace is there for a variety of reasons...one of which is to keep the swelling down. >It really, truly does take 8-10 months for a majority of the swelling to go down. I am a year out and the very tip of my nose is still tingly. Early on, try not to look in the mirror too much or obsess over it...like I did :) >After your rhinoplasty, I found the following things would make my nose swell temporarily. Don't worry, it will go back down: -if you eat salty foods -exercise -are in a warm-hot room -sleeping on your back Hope this proves helpful to those considering. Justin
An awesome experience from start to finish
