I had been diagnosed with Patulous Eustachian Tube Dysfunction by a PA over at Southwest ENT. I went to Doc. Tubach for a second opinion. I am a "tough customer" because I always have a lot of questions and I really want to understand. Doc. Tubach is very gentle mannered, knowledgeable and willing to answer questions. And, he didn't rush, I think he probably spent almost 30 minutes with me. He was thorough in his physical examination and he wasn't so quick to come up with a diagnosis. He thought because of my mixed symptoms (some of them inconsistent with the Patulous Eustachian tube Dysfunction) that it was a little more complicated. He suggested one of, or combination of three things causing my condition. He also seems to take a more wholistic approach to medicine and so I learned about how my other issues may be effecting my ears. Although there seem to be no easy solution to my problem he recommended doing some physical therapy and working on reducing inflammation through diet… modification as first steps.

I used to have 15-17 headache days a month. The headaches would last for up to 10 days. They were debilitating. Then, I had surgery with Dr. Tubach. It has been two years. I have had 10 headaches total. Most of them I have been able to go away in less than 12 hours. (Unless I have a cold or the flu.) Thank you Dr. Tubach, Scott and Merritt you changed my life! I now can be the woman, wife and mom that I have always wanted to be!

I worked with Dr. Tubach for years and years he opened his practice in Idaho years ago and has been here since...he never botched your surgery in another state he has always practiced here. From A personal stand point. Dr. Tubach deeply cares for everyone he encounters, from patients to co-workers. He takes good care of everyone in a manner that makes everyone around him feel good. He was on vacation once and flew all the way back to take care of a patient. So I dont know some of you are talking about, but he really is the greatest. I take my children to him, and my mother, and mother in law. He works with people who dont have insurance and he loves helping people. I no longer work there, and I miss it everyday, because Dr. Tubach made it a wonderful place to be. So please verify that you are rating the correct doctor before using this sight because its wrong to defame a persons character when you dont even have your facts right. Thank you!

I am a nurse anesthesist at one of the hospitals Dr Tubach operates at. I am also a patient of his as well as my children. I choose him after observing him in comparison to all the other ENT doctors in town and upon the recommendations of other nurses and physicians in the hospital. Dr Tubach is one of the best. He is an excellent surgeon, a kind and caring person and treats all his patients as he would a family member. I would highly recommend him to anyone.

Methodical in monitoring my situation & did not immediatly want to rush to surgery. Now 5+ years later, I continue to see outstanding results - I used to get 3-6 sinus infections a year, now I get 0-1 a year (basically one every two years). I have also been taught how to manage colds more effectively so they don't turn into sinus infections.

I see Dr. Tubach is my families ENT, he has excellent bedside manner, a good sense of humor and is very caring. The person below who wrote dangerous doesnt know what they are talking about as he is an ENT not a nuero surgeon. He is fabulous!

I have had sinus problems all my life and was unable to deal with anymore, horrible headaches and miserable with sinus pain all the time. I am so please that since my surgery my sinus pain is gone. The surgery was uncomfortable but the doctor was there the whole time. The nurse called me after my surgery to see how I was and dealt with all of my questions and concerns thoroughly and was genuinely kind to me the entire time. He was a very competent surgeon and I loved him. I would gladly take anyone of my family members or myself back to him agin and again!!!
