Dr. Mathew Joseph Pulicken, MD

Dr. Pulicken is not looking out for you. He's out to make money and toy with your life if given the opportunity. Not only will his office not even respond to phone calls, but once you finally get an appointment (months later .. calling almost daily) Pulicken will treat you like absolute dirt. This man wasted almost a year of my life. I came to see him to find out why I had a seizure, and needed a doctor to sign off on paperwork for the RMV in order to get my license reinstated. instead of helping me to find the cause of the seizure he ended up making me suicidal from the amount of pain and effort I went through dealing with this office, and him. I couldn't get seen for months and months.. Once I finally got an appointment he kept a strict time and attempted to prescribe me the standard medication (even though I wasn't having recurring events.) It's almost been a year since I had a seizure at this point and I still don't have my license. He wasted my insurances money giving me tests and… telling me I have no signs of epilepsy. Once he couldn't make any more money from me he tried to pawn me off to another neurologist. He signed the forms for the RMV and stated that I was at risk for a recurrent event so they wouldn't reinstate my license. There was nothing I could do. I even took a 3 day EEG he told me to take (which cost thousands of dollars to my insurance) and he even said there was no need to start a medication based off the test results (yet I was still at risk to drive..?) it made NO SENSE. During one of my appointments with him he laughed in my face when I was trying to tell him I was struggling with life. He is taking advantage of people and their insurance. I've reported him to the medical board and I hope he gets his license to practice medicine revoked for the way he treats people. If you can even get an appointment or a call back from this office (which I doubt anyone will even respond to you for months) I would not see Dr. Pulicken unless you want your life to be completely destroyed.

He was very impatient and kept a strict time limit of 20 minutes for the first appointment and 40 minutes for the second appointment. While other doctors in the office spent a long amount of time going over their patient's questions. He was not concerned with the reason for my medical condition he only was focused on prescribing the standard medication. When I had multiple side effects to the medication he was not concerned and said that was the only option. After seeing other specialists I was able to find alternatives. He did not want to complete the follow-up tests after I told him I was off medication and he took a long time to return results. If you want a doctor that listens to your concerns I would not recommend him.

Dr. Pi licked is a doctor who is thorough in his examination. He explains test results and listens to his patients. He is kind and very professional.

Dr Pulickan is very thorough and has a great way of keeping his patients at ease and comfortable. He has a lot of knowledge and insight and I would recommend him over and over.
