Dr. Hearst seemed distracted. He misdiagnosed a condition that required a completely different treatment. This effected my quality of life. I sought a second opinion and am glad I did.

From the first visit to the follow up after surgery Dr Hearst was clear how he could repair by hearing. I had a had infection and had not gotten clear advice prior. The ear had sealed completely shut and left me deaf on the left side. Dr. Hearst consulted options. Surgery being on of them. I chose the surgery which was intricate to say the least as the closure was close to the eardrum. The surgery was a success and I am so blessed to have my hearing back. What a difference! Thank you to Dr. Hearst and his friendly staff.

Poor Bedside manner. Seemed removed, never smiled, was abrupt, never gave a clear answer. I will not be returning to see him again. Long wait.

Honestly, he couldn't really talk to us very well and has minimal communication skills, but from a surgical standpoint he was excellent.
