Shipped me to a plastic surgeon for hydradenitis supportiva who wanted to permanently scar me. Left CC went to UH Dermatologist- who has been treating me successfully for 8 years - life long chronic inflammatory condition

He treated me well. I did have a basal cell lesion. He removed it. I did not get a antibiotic and a wk. later i had a infection. You cannot get though to the office. A nurse answers his calls. That took 40 min.to get through! A patient

made an appointment to see Dr Janik for my skin tags & multiple seborrheic keratoses to be removed since he is certified dermatologist. he did not remove it. states it is benign. was a biggest waste of my time & had to take time off work. i will never go back to him agaain or recommend anyone. disappointed Joan Sith

Excellent caring physician

Not at what I expected from the Cleveland Clinic. Terrible bedside manner. Curt and somewhat arrogant. Felt he didn't listen. Told me that although the medication he prescribed was not covered by insurance that he had limited options and that I'd "just have to pay out-of-pocket." Immediately cancelled my follow up and called a recommended dermatologist that was not CCF. I had a completely different experience, along with a different diagnosis. Plus, he worked with medication within my insurance. Lesson learned!!

Dr Janik explains everything step by step. Takes time with you and is a wonderful doctor. I was very impressed with him.

I BECAME A PATIENT OF DR. JANIK'S ALMOST THREE YEARS AGO, AND I FEEL HE IS THE BEST. HE TAKES HIS TIME WITH YOU, AND EXPLAINS EVERYTHING HE DOES, OR INTENDS TO DO. I LIKE IS HONEST APPROACH, AND THE WAY HE CARES FOR YOU AS A PERSON, AS WELL AS HIS PATIENT. HE SEEMS SOMEWHAT OF A PRIVATE TYPE, BUT, I FEEL THATS IS JUST HIS NATURE, AND NOT A BAD THING.

I have been dealing with severe eczema and cracking peeling hands for a year. I am a massage therapist so my hands take a beating between washing and massage lotion. Dr. Janik is very knowledgeable and gave me ways to control my eczema and hand conditions rather than just shooting me up with cortisone, which is a temporary fix. For the first time in a year the palm of my hands are totally intact.
