Dr. Matthew John Harris, MD

Our family had an amazing experience going to Dr. Harris. After our son injured his ankle, we were referred to a podiatrist. The podiatrist told us that our son had broken pieces by his inner ankle, had a cast put on him (for up to six weeks) and were told he may need surgery. My "mommy instinct" coupled with my young son not preferring the doctor, led me to go for a second opinion just five days after this cast was put on. Thank God that we were referred to Dr. Harris. He was not only professional, but also kind and caring. He took time listening to the situation, and then informed us that having viewed our son's x-rays prior to coming in the room, he knew he was removing that cast. Our son only had a sprain which could only heal with gradual daily movement (which would not have happened in the cast). He spoke to our elementary aged son with respect and care. He made sure he was comfortable before, during and after he removed his cast, and asked that we return in two weeks to… ensure that he was 100% (which he was!). At the two week follow-up, we saw the PA Jason (who we briefly met at our first appointment). Jason was just as professional and kind...our children liked them both so much, they couldn't decide who they preferred!:) I hope we have no future injuries, however, if we do, we will not hesitate to just ask for a referral to Dr. Harris.
