Dr. Melody A. Cobleigh, MD

Have nothing but great things to say about Dr. Cobliegh. My mother has been undergoing treatment at Rush with her team and we have both been shocked by her unrelenting commitment to her patients. If we ever have questions during treatment, no matter what time of the day, Dr. Cobleigh always returns our phone calls in about five minutes. Unbelievable! She goes above and beyond to answer any and all questions. She is warm, friendly and professional at all times. That said, she is also one of the top medical oncologists for breast cancer in the nation. We all feel so fortunate to have chosen Dr. Cobleigh and cannot recommend her enough.

Very cold. Did not talk. No eye contact. Dr. Cobleigh is supposed to be this great doctor, but her demeanor was terrible. She may be a good cancer specialist, but she is not good with patients. Go elsewhere if you are looking for at least a glimpse of kindness or compassion. There are other good doctors out there.

After my wife was told there was nothing more they could do and she was crying, The doctor asked her to stop crying before she walked through the office so it won't upset other patients! She's very cold!

Dr. Cobleigh goes above and beyond for her patients. She is willing to do whatever it takes to make certain that her patients get the treatments they need, even if it means taking on insurance companies. I would not be alive today were it not for her.

Dr. Cobleigh is a knowledgable, wonderful doctor. She is always available via email and is incredibly diligent in responding. Her expertise is very comforting. Knowing that I'm seeing one of the best for breast cancer gives me great comfort. She is very calming and is not an alarmist which makes one able to easily deal with a terrible situation.
