Dr. Michael Lynn Maris, MD

I, also, wish I'd read reviews before I went to see Dr. Maris. He's all about the money. I asked Dr. Maris for small amount of Sculptra along my jaw and he took it upon himself to inject it under my eyes. I now have deep depressions under each eye. My doctor, Elizabeth Kerner, said "he should've better" than to put Sculptra under my eyes.

Dr Maris has been my doctor for dermatological and cosmetic needs for 20 years. He is highly skilled, professional, kind and above all, will not sell you something you do not need. I get wonderful compliments on my complexion and how much younger I look then my years. He is gentle and professional and I have referred many happy friends to him!

Dr. Maris is a greedy, egotistical & incompetent surgeon. He solicited the procedure of abdominal liposuction which, in retrospect, was more than unwarranted; it was just plain arrogant and greedy on his part. Do no allow this man to repeat this scenario. It is more than likely you will be left permanently disfigured. The results of what he did to my body render this dermatologist nothing more than a sadistic butcher. It is impossible to forgive myself for trusting this man as I am confronted every single day of my life by the horrendous and permanent results of his arrogance and complete incompetence.

I was so excited to find a doctor willing to use a local anesthetic instead of general. I was happily awake during the procedure. That alone says a lot for a doctor's abilities. (Who knows what happens when you're under general anesthesia!) Dr. Maris did a great job! Because of the anesthetic used, it also kept the price of the procedure more affordable.

I wish I have read the review on this site before my procedure. Seems her story is identical to mine. I also ended up with an uneven tummy, full of weird lumps and bumps and demarcation lines. He should not be providing this services. I will have to go and spend a fortune to get his mistake fixed. It will have to be a very tigth tummy tuck .What a joke. And to come around and said this has NEVER happened to his patients before. That MY SKIN did not respond well to it. So I guess is MY FAULT. Jajaja.I forgot to mention my tigths, they are also bumpy/lumpy and have demarcation lines on them. No more shorts or 2 piece swimsuits if any at all other than a cover up.I only hope this prevents someone to make the costly mistake I did.

I have seen Dr. Maris for a number of years. He and his staff are always very kind & professional. He spends an enough time with you and yet He is always considerate of my time. I appreciate them and look forward to many more years.

I have been a patient of Dr. Michael Maris for a number of years. He is the consummate professional. He is always kind, and takes the time to explain issues in understandable language. If there is more than one medication that would work for a given issue, her is willing to discuss the pros and cons of each. His staff members are stupendous. I have recommended Dr. Maris to my friends and family several times over the years and all have reported back that they agree with my assessment...a great doctor AND a truly nice man.

Be forewarned. I am anguished daily from physical deformities inflicted upon me by this man. The results are unconscionable. He does not deserve the respect of being referred to as a Doctor. He is NOT a surgeon and does not possess the skill or knowledge to perform the liposuction procedure he solicited, unduly I might add. Don't be fooled!

The result of being Dr. Maris' patient has left me traumatized and changed my life for the worse due to permanent physical damage.

Do your research on this doc before you get ANY treatments. He is egotistical, only about the money and is quite simply a jerk.
