Terrific doctor! Excellent professional. I had one surgery and another procedure with him. Highly recommend!

In 2021 I went to Dr. Michael Lupa because I had pain on the left side of my throat and below my ear. Dr. Lupa stated he looked in my throat and saw nothing. One year later I went to another ENT because the pain got worse. That ENT took the time to look in my throat and noticed the bone poking through my throat which pierced the skin. I had Eagles Syndrome. I had surgery which alleviated most of my symptoms. However, this bone was so long that it pushed on my neck, compressed my internal jugular vein, and changed the structure of my skull base. I have had an additional surgery due to this and am scheduled for another surgery. The additional surgeries would not be necessary if Dr. Lupa took the time to actually look in my throat. If you decide to see Dr. Lupa, please do your due diligence and request he take the time to examine you the way he should. I called the office manager recently to let her know what happened. I wanted to prevent this happening to another patient. She apologized… profusely. I wanted to write this review so others don't go through what I have endured.

eye finna get sump off my chest eye see yous up set about your deviated septum but eye can tell u wut thats gotta be some degree of deviation might and why would you copy and paste your same review from healthgrades and post it twice christ we can tawk about extramedicals all day like your request to bust out dawg fone in middle of your deviated septum surgery--irony is some other review complain about not washing dawgs paws after textin or sump so wut u be askin a nikon on a tripod cuz dawg looked in moy E prescribed dese drops that fixed my E in two days might chronic over past seven ate yEs aiite

I went to see Dr. Lupa because the air did not flow through my right nostril, and I had to sleep using nasal strips. Before and on the day of surgery, Dr. Lupa was nice. At the post-op visit, I was never shown the before/after pictures of my nose, I felt rushed out the door without being given any care instructions. The surgery did not work, my breathing is as bad as before, my septum does not feel straight, I still need to sleep with nasal strips, and I lost most of my sense of smell.

I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Lupa. He was personable, and was able to diagnose my sinus problem that I had been going to various eNTs for YEARS without relief. He answered all my questions and I was so impressed with his professionalism. Definitely will recommend to anyone needing sinus or allergy care!
