Dr. Michael A Sandquist, MD

Was seen at ER. Fracture neck. Was told to call for follow up and x-rays. Multiple calls and no call backs. Been 4 weeks. Said was having problems with keeping collar in place.

Gaslighter, Withholds Information, 3 Month Wait. 2 visits 3 years apart. Office staff cold and unfriendly. 1st visit, doctor claimed he didn't know what the problem was, and said that he could not help. 2nd visit, the doctor referred me to another neurologist and told that doctor that he would not help due to my condition. Dr Sandquist never told me this. The other neurologist confirmed my diagnosis 100%. The procedure is simple and something that Dr Sandquist is trained for. I think he turned me down on the first visit because I was a smoker at the time. He has made my family and my chronic pain unbelievably excruciating due his lack of concern and evasiveness.

Doctor Sandquist has been extremely helpful with his knowledge, experience and his concern in helping patients to recover from pains as high as 10. Iam one of his patients that has ranged at 7 too 10. Today i had neck surgery and so far ive experience no pain. I only experienced a bit sore. I definitely will refer my family and friends. I'm Joseph Don Jackson who feels very fortunate to have this Doctor taking care of me.

Love Dr Sandquist and his staff. Felt very comfortable having undergone cervical spine surgery. Not one complaint whatsoever. Wonderful surgeon and would highly recommend him always. Still have pain but not doctors fault its my back's fault. Highly recommend him to everyone.

I had the same problem others mentioned. His assistant would promise to talk to the doctor and "call you back," but you never hear from them. This occurred both before and after the surgery. The operation went so-so, but the lack of communications is definite minus, as far as I'm concerned.

The office staff is courteous and prompt. If you are late, they try to help but it is still on you for being late. This practice is plan excellent.

Terrible staff. Surgery rescheduled because staff did not schedule a prerequisite procedure needed to perform the surgery. Staff does not followup with appt time or even schedule appt at right location. The Doctor is difficult to see and when he is available does not spend any time with the patient. In fact, the last time Sandquist even saw my back without a shirt off was the day he performed the surgery, All subsequent follow up visits were brief and despite continuing post operative pain, he did not pursue the cause, but rather passed me off to other doctors and finally just PT. Moved to another doctor and discovered that I have spinal stenosis in the vertebrae ABOVE where he performed my surgery to remove a tumor. Proper followup care would have caught this.

Worst staff ever is right. I wish I had of researched my doctors because I allowed Dr Sandquist to operate on me and am suffering the consequences years later. I would highly recommend reconsidering.

worst staff "PERIOD". They don't return calls, they are rude and inconsiderate. Honestly I don't think they care.

I had surgery by Dr. Sandquist about 4 years ago, after suffering for many years. My procedure was "day surgery", and I walked out of the hospital pain free and have remained so ever since.
