Saw Dr. Toshok for the first time. He was very patient and understanding. He did not rush through the visit and listened and explained things. Staff was also very nice and helpful. Would recommend him highly. Looking forward to his treatment plan and getting some quality of life back.

Dr Toshok seems like a caring person. He has a nurse in his office who is very angry and wants me to be off my pain medicine. I have had several surgeries and have severe pain. She has ZERO empathy. The role of pain management should be to improve the patient’s quality of life and done safely

He has done wonders for me. Nothing can take all the pain away, but I can live my life. I would and have recommended him

If you see this man and care one bit about your overall health and rest of your life, seek another doctor. UPMC has plenty that understand how to give injections In The right ordered area and understand that there is a limit to oral and injected steroids. The damage that was caused cannot be reversed after an operation by a competent doctor. Being told what was originally wrong with you is repaired but the damage caused by cycle after cycle of steroids and injections is permanent just because I picked this man out of the yellow pages is a horrible feeling.

He takes his time with you and is a straight shooter. He doesn't just shove pills at you and throw you out the door. He actually gets to the root of the problem and gives you options for treatment. Only doctor I trust to do my injections in my back!

Dr. Toshok gave me my life back. I was hesitant to go to him because of all of the negative reviews. He is kind and compassionate. He takes his time with me and LISTENS. I have multiple conditions and have suffered for years! Am I 100% pain free, no. However, I can function and no longer spend all of my time in bed. He's fantastic!

After multiple injections, which were done under fluroscopy and hurt like heck, I have pedical screws He told me he wanted to put in a morphine pump. I declined, he literally quickly stood up, opened the door and sneered, " you'll be back begging me for it! " His PA came in and gave me a prescription for methadone, which didn't help me. Every appointment with his office was horrid. You wait so long just to be belittled because his pain management doesn't work.
